Baraqiel liked to think of himself as a calm man who was very important to the everyday management of the Fallen Angels. Currently, he was leading Odin through Kuoh together with the old god's silver-haired assistant.


"Ohohoho~" Odin laughed as they walked around the red light district. That was when Baraqiel noticed Akeno with a very familiar man, it was Haruto, they were trying some alcoholic drinks and the Abyss Auction leader was telling her something and she laughed. Since they were so far none of them could hear it, but Baraqiel's hand crackled with holy lighting. 


"That bastard!" He yelled out, ready to attack when suddenly the world around him flashed white and all of them were forcefully teleported away, on the outskirts of Kuoh.


Both Odin and Rossweisse were teleported too. The Allfather was quite surprised by this since there weren't a lot of beings in this world who could forcefully teleport him.


"Please don't cause trouble around here. So now bow." A feminine voice said casually, causing them all to suddenly feel pressured. Baraqiel and Rossweisse were forcefully brought to their knees. Even Odin's knees buckled but he released his Divine Energy and was able to stop himself from bowing. 


He looked up and saw Athena swearing a long white robe while sitting on a throne made of light. Her gold-like hair seemed to melt into light and go towards the sunset.

Odin was enamored by the figure, and for the first time in thousands of years, he felt like a young boy who had just seen a beautiful woman for the first time. His usually steady heart also started beating faster, it made him feel something he hadn't in so long.

Athena saw this and rose a questioning brow. "You feeling okay old man? I wouldn't want you to get a heart attack and die… like your son."


That last part immediately got Odin out of his charmed state and he concentrated on her, his eyes narrowing. "What is that supposed to mean?"


"Oh… I think you know." Athena smirked at him. "Anyway, you can go now. I permit you to leave this place alive."


Odin's eyes turned even sharper. "You have gotten quite a bit confident from getting this power. If you keep acting like this, sooner or later, someone will come to take you down."


"Oh~ aren't you such a brave old man~" she smirked, "Sadly you won't be able to do anything. So at the end of the day, you can only say empty threats and hope for someone else to come and deal with your problems."


Immediately a spear appeared in Odin's hand. Gungnir, that was his most powerful divine weapon, but Athena looked at him with a boring disposition. "Is this all old man?"


"Heh, someone gotta teach these young people nowadays." Odin sighed.


Athena didn't say anything at that and just tapped her finger on the handle of her throne. Immediately a light spread out, covering the whole of Japan.


The Allfather looked at her in shock. "What-... What happened to the Shinto Gods?!!"


Rossweisse frowned too. "What?! An Authority, meaning that a Chief God is fighting in his territory, the place where they are the strongest! But this place belongs to the Shinto Gods!! This shouldn't be possible!!"



"Unless the Chief Shinto God is someone new," intervened Baraqiel, his hand clenching in anger, "This will bring about a war that will make the Three Factions War look like kids playing around. A new Divine War, the other Gods won't be happy with this. Not even a week has passed since she killed the Greek Gods."


This fast-moving and changing, no one would like them. Especially other Gods, they will feel threatened, after all, how long till Athena came for them? At the speed she was doing things, then it won't be too long.


Odin nervously pulled back his spear ready to throw it.


"C'mon now, no need for everyone to get so violent." A hand lands on Odin's shoulder before the Asgardian Chief God could even sense anything. Haruto smiled at everyone. "Hello everyone, sorry for showing up so late. I was busy trying to please a masochist and doing some homework. School is coming soon and I wouldn't want to miss my summer homework."


The way he talked about menial things made everyone drop their guard temporarily as they felt at ease. For a split second, they all forgot they were even fighting, till Baraqiel interrupted. "Existence Eater!! She is one of your personnel!!"

"Oh, you are right, sorry about that." Haruto looked at Athena and smiled, "You have been a very bad girl Athena -chan."

For a split second, a blush appeared on Athena's face, but it went away as soon as it came. Also to everyone here, it was obvious that Haruto didn't plan to even get in Athena's way.

Odin looked at him with a stink eye, but Haruto just shrugged. "What do you want me to do? She is in the Top 10 Strongest creatures and I am just your everyday squishy human."


"She listens to you." Stated Baraqiel as if it was a matter of fact.


*sigh* "Sooo… do you wanna stop this Athena?" He asked with a bored look on his face, it was obvious to everyone that he was doing this just to say that he tried.

"Do you want me to?" Inquired Athena with a smirk.

"No, not really," he added, "But I have to keep up appearances. So play along."

"Oy, we are here you know!" Rossweisse exclaimed. "Don't like we aren't!"

Athena gazed at the silver-haired valkyrie. "Can I kill her?"


Haruto shrugged. "It would be a shame, but you can if you want to. Though I would like it if you kept her alive, she is pretty after all."


"Are you trying to make me jealous?" Athena inquired as she saw that Rossweisse was blushing even though Haruto didn't particularly say anything about being willing to protect her. 'She must be desperate. Any man for her would do, even the kind of guy who would let her die, but as long as he called her pretty she would be okay with it…'

"Of course not," Haruto said jovially, "The last thing I would want is that. Still, though, you could act like you didn't kill a bunch of the Shinto Gods already."



"What?!!" Baraqiel yelled in shock, there had been no news of this. How did she do this quietly? That was the question everyone asked.

Haruto on the other hand looked sheepish. "Ooops~ sorry, I wasn't meant to say that. If you want more information about this you can contact the Abyss Auction Information website. The price should be a World Tree Seed or something of similar value."


Odin sighed, seeing that Athena no longer had any intention to fight. "You are milking this situation, Irregular Magician."

He only smiled. "I am a humble businessman at heart. Anyway, see you all later, I have a date to go back to."
