***
Casually a man with long red hair, dark horns, blue eyes, a cow's tail, and a muscular body with strange red tattoos all over it. He also wore a necklace with a cheap coin with a hole in the middle as its ornament.
He walked amongst the empty, corrupted dark fields of Wayne Kingdom without a care in the world. Creatures of insanity and darkness looked at hrom from the blade of grass, normally they would attack, but as soon as their predatory instincts spiked up, they would slam down and their bodies would shake in fear.
This was the terror one felt when they were against an overwhelming predator. The man turned around and looked towards one of the mountains in the distance, his face expressionless and serene as if a Monk who had reached enlightenment. He then continued walking at a casual pace towards his destinations.
BOOOM!!
Suddenly the mountain exploded and a gigantic eldritch beast that seemed like the combination between a grotesque horse and octopus came out. Vile black liquid dripped out of the creature’s spores and with an puss-like saliva came out of its mouth.
Its charge was like that of a death god as it killed and corrupted everything in its surroundings. The creature was something that only the strongest concentrations of corruption could create and it had the power of a Peak Legendary Rank.
But as soon as it got within a certain distance of the man, the grotesque beast stopped in its tracks. What before seemed an unstoppable charge turned into a gentle strot and then the creature turned tail and started running away.
Unexpectedly the beast’s boat started inflating like a balloon.
*BURST!!*
It burst into a million chunks so largs that black blood covered fields and mountains. But the man’s way wasn’t blocked at all. He swiped his cow-like tail and stopped walking again. “The human world has turned very ugly.”
He was genuinely disappointed by this. With a sigh he continued walking when suddenly a purple Magic Circle appeared and a purple haired voluptuous woman came out. Her beauty was something otherworldly and her jewel-like purple eyes would hypnotize anyone that looked into them. But her lower body was that of a snake, showing her demi-human origins.
Immediately she bowed her head. “Beast Emperor, everyone is worried about you. We need you in the front lines.”
“Ah, Medusa,” the man smiled gently. “I told you to not worry about these kinds of things. Also call me Aesop, I was the Beast Emperor two thousand years ago and I betrayed my subject’s wishes. So I no longer deserve that title.”
“No,” Medusa refuted him quickly. “You will forever be the Beast Emperor. You only failed due to trusting humans and that scheming human.”
“A loss is still a loss,” Aesop shook his head and continued walking. “The best I can do now is exterminate humanity to try and appease the people that died for me two thousand years ago. I stomped on their wishes by failing… I won’t make the same mistake again.”
Medusa clenched her fist as tears rolled down her perfect face. “Humans are always like this, unaccepting of those different from them!”
“I see your hatred of humans is as strong as ever,” Aesop went towards the woman and patted her head like a parent would their child. “Don’t worry, this time I will kill off all the strong humans first and never give them time to plan again,” his gaze turned sharp and malicious. “No one will ever die again because of my foolishness. I spent two thousand years agonizing over my mistakes. This won’t happen ever again.”
She could feel the emotion from the Emperor’s words and it felt like they pierced straight into her heart. With that in mind, she nodded and teleported off, but as her body started dissipating away she lastly said. “I will come and check on you every week, just to see if you are okay. So please be careful.”
Aesop smiled and shook his head. “That little girl, who thought she would grow so much.”

On the deepest parts of the Soul Sect, Alex was in his office, elearning on his chair and Pork, the cute fire boar was on his lap. He rubbed his hand against the small pet’s fur. The smile on his face was a relaxed one, as he was expecting some good news.
SUddenly, the door to the office was slammed open and an angry Ya Xiao came in. “You didn’t say that Bright would be so strong.”
“Why? Did you have any problems against him?”
“If he had been cautious, then I would be dead and he would be coming to kill you.”
“Oh~ that’s interesting,” Alex didn’t seem bothered and continued to massage Pork. “But if you have no problems then why are you complaining to me? This isn’t something that I control.”
“But you knew, didn’t you?” Ya Xiao had been the Human Emperor 2000 years ago, and while he wasn’t naturally good with politics, he could discern when someone was lying to him.
Though that was mostly because Alex didn’t even bother hiding it. “Obviously,” he admitted openly. “My dear Human Emperor who is still stuck in the past, do you need me to explain to you the nature of our relationship? Let me give you a hint, we aren’t equal and we both know you aren’t the one giving orders here.”
Ya Xiao clenched his teeth and was tempted to summon Calesvol and kill Alex with the strongest Holy Sword. But he knew that unlike Bright, the man in front of him was a whole different kind of monster.
‘Hell, he probably won’t even fight me. Instead he will run away and kill my sister. That would be the first thing a man like him would do. Cowards through and through.’ - thought Ya Xiao, unwilling to accept the fate he had been put into but knew he had no other choice.
“Ya Xiao,” Alex called out to him, the Blood Mage no longer had a casual look on is face as his red eyes shone with a hidden craziness in them and crimson red Mana flew out of his body, shaking the room they were in and the whole of the Soul Sect. “You are my toy, I will make and break you whenever I want. Lying to you would be useless, and you know how it is. The next time you speak to me I will cut one of Ya Fei’s fingers and send it to you as a gift.”
The despairing reality of being weak, Ya Xiao was hit with a feeling that he had long forgotten. He felt the bile rise up his stomach and like he wanted to throw up. “Sorry, it won’t happen again.”
Immediately the crimson Mana withdrew back into Alex and his smile returned into that of a gentle man who wouldn’t harm a fly. “Well, that’s good. Now how about we get into some other news. Have you ever heard of the Poison Hero?”
**
-Alex POV-
What a tool. That was what Ya Xiao was. Even the mightiest men went to the toilet and wiped. So when the circumstances came, they would bow too. But Ya Xiao was still my most special tool, he will be my killer that will take out every single person who could become troublesome in the future.
The plan was to kill Ya Xiao after his usage was finished too. After all, I had already predicted 126 scenarios where he would betray me. Since the dynamic of our relationship has become more obsolete, that number has gone down to 80.
Well, killing someone like Ya Xiao was extremely hard, but I had an idea in mind that would most likely work. Though it wasn’t 100% foul proof, nothing in reality is, but I knew that the chances of him dying would increase exponentially.
“I want you to kill the Poison Hero,” I told him casually as if this was just another job for him. Not showing anything that this would be the trap for him. “Go and meet Ain, she will explain the situation to you. Also leave the Fire God’s Core behind."
Ya Xiao left a crimson jewel on the table and walked out without saying anything.
I petted Pork just right above his head, this had been a predictable development. “He is quite strong isn’t he?”
Like always, Pork only looked at me and tilted his head. SInce he had reached Legendary Rank he had gained the ability of speech, but never said anything. I took the Fire God’s Core and fed it to him. “There, there, little guy. Let’s see how the future God of Fire will be.”
A red energy burst out of Pork, it was mighty enough to burn anything in this world. A God's Core was being absorbed, essentially a God was being devoured.
