When I first started drawing I always seemed to rush my artwork and I feel like I see a lot of other artists do the same.
But this is completely understandable. When we live in a world where we can constantly be influenced by the speed painting videos on Youtube and the 15-second art Ticktock videos, it feels like that is the standard and the goal is to DRAW FASTER!
However, speaking from experience I have noticed that when I slowed down and took my time with my art, I produced a better product. My art quality increased and my knowledge and understanding of what makes a great art piece and what steps to take got better.
And once I understood that I...my speed actually increased.
I am still very very slow, but my quality has reached a level where I am now getting paid by Disney to create art pieces like this.
I hope this brings a new perspective to your art journey.

This is crazy, the amount of hours and effort in your pieces is not perceived by anyone when seeing the final results. Totally amazing and inspirational.
