2021 is coming to an end and wow... what a year it was..
First of all i want to thank you all for your support in good and bad times during this year. You gave me the fuel needed to keep moving forward and i hope my efforts returned the favor. This year my patreon worked only 7 months because i had to pause the rest in order for my wrist to recover and continue sculpting. And i cant even describe to you how frustrating this is. Many times i wanted to do more and bring you even more content but it was simply impossible because of the pain. So if i have a wish for 2022, is to be healthy and sculpt for at least 10 months. But im not gonna continue boring you to death with my wrist issues :D
For the 7 months the page was active, i brought 43 new releases and i tried to give as much detail and attention as possible because this is what you deserve. My 100% of effort. I know i still have a lot to learn and i will keep trying to improve my sculpting skills but at least i can sleep at night knowing i gave you my absolute best :) Reaching almost 1000 patrons shows me that i did good and you liked what i did. For the people that ask 10+ releases every month im afraid i will have to explain that doing that will decrease the quality and this is something i would never do. For 2022 i would really like to start balancing the fanart/originals ratio though. I know most people love the fanart models but i would really like to hear your opinion when it comes to that. Would you like more original art from me? Its a question that goes around in my head for a long time.
I was very happy to see all year in socials and Discord your amazing prints and paint jobs and i have to say there are so many talented people in this community. Always amazes me and i hope to see even more people learning to paint next year.
I want to wish everyone to have a fantastic 2022 full of health and success. I love you all and i would not be able to do what i do without you. You are amazing.
for January i already have some ideas and i would like to share.

I think its time to do a bust of the Lord of destruction dont you think....

Now with the new spiderman movie we will see tons of spideys around, so i thought to do something a little different but equally awesome :)

Abyss Watcher figure - Dark souls
You loved the dark souls figures so i will keep bringing more :)
Of course the figure will be cut as bust as well..
These are my thoughts so far for January. Of course i will make an original bust as usual.
So thats it from me.
I will try to give myself a couple of days off and i will start working next years releases very soon.

Happy New Year! I am in many Patreons and have talked with you on Discord before: health first, otherwise instead of "43 models in a year" it will be "0 models". I like all the models and just need to actually get the time to properly print things (also, I need the Palette 3 I ordered... that's been the biggest delay in printing your and others models...) But seriously, I get how frustrating it is to not be able to make more models while doctor says "stop", spend the time to get your routine down so you work enough to feel content but not so much that you feel pain and need more therapy... then it will be 12 months of patron instead of 10 or 7 or less. Don't skimp on quality. I'd rather see 1 epic sculpt from you a month then 20 a month but looking like a speed drawing (or worse... something at the quality I can make). You know as well as I do that the Patreons who pump out 20, 30, 40 models a month are often teams OR they're doing a couple model with different hands/heads/clothes and "40 models" is just all the variations. Looking forward to the new studio space... be awesome.

2021-12-28 19:31:26 +0000 UTCI have been playing (during the weekends when I have the time) Diablo 2 Resurrected with the same childhood friend I grew up with playing the original about 19-20 years ago. So to the question "How many models from the Diablo universe would we like?" the answer is "Yes". I do think originals help you improve your skills more and about the ratio, just do what feels right to you. Thanks for all the models this year. 2021-12-28 14:04:34 +0000 UTCWishing you a healthy 2022. I'd like to see some more original pieces personally. Selfishly, I want to let my creative juices flow a little more. Sometimes I feel daunted by the fanart pieces because I have an urge to really replicate the original look. I'm colorblind/color deficient so I have a bit of self doubt I'm making the right paint mixes when I paint. If it's an original piece, who's to say my colors are off!

For people asking for more, they simply don't know what it involves to bring the work that you do. Fanart or Originals - I don't care .. really. When I like it, I'll print it :-). Judging from what I printed from you, it seems to be a 60% fanart, 40% originals. But that could easily be 50/50.. . Looking forward to many of your models - in particular the Gul'Dan! Keep up the good work - and I wish you and your family all the happiness and the best health!
