with the gordy storyline that u were talking about at the end zuff, ive seen people say its meant to symbolize the whole kinda theme of the movie which the concept of a spectacle, and animals. and that the floating shoe acc didnt have anything to do with the alien and that its supossed to show u that amongst all the chaos of the chimp being set off and mauling everyone that the only thing u as a viewer focus on is this floating shoe. idk i just really enjoy all the symbolism and metaphors in this movie.
