New Content Updates + Off-Days
Added 2024-08-30 13:13:18 +0000 UTCHi everyone! After two and a half years without a pause or missing a single update, I’ve decided to take a very brief respite to plan Act 3. After chapter 72, the next two main chapter days (Monday and Thursday) will have a pause. Side content will still be released like normal, and 73 will be dropped after a week off. I feel terrible slowing down, but everyone has prodded me a lot and the Discord poll was unanimous lol.
I’ll be planning Act 3 since it’s difficult chapters, and I want them to turn out well. It’s a chance for you guys to catch up and have a breather too, you’ve been going two years also! Without further ado, here’s the upcoming updates:
69 - Taylor in captivity with a Krakotl!
70 - Tassi grapples with Aafa, and perhaps speaks with the Arxur, who used Bissem ships as shields
71 - Quana, with some KC reactions
72 - Meier: the speech telling the SC. Moment of truth
73 - The promised chapter of Tassi exploring Ivrana, which I’ll be taking extra time to plan and add cool cultural stuff!
74 - Timeskip, most likely Quana. Let’s say stuff goes down, folks!
The Arxur series is at a minimum 9 chapters, and can be longer if you guys enjoy it as much as I imagined you will. One of the meatiest, action-driven series with our first real look at Wriss and Siffy’s new government. Again, there are no alterations to its normal release pattern, so don’t fret!

So much better that you take a break and take your time so you can continue to enjoy writing. Thank you for all the effort and time you put into it!

Also: although I am a bit disappointment we are still not getting "The Space Adventures Of Bullseye Blake And Space Hippo", I really appreciate the in depth look in to post Batterment Arxur! With their fate in the main story hanging in the balance, us having a proper view on what became of their society is crucial. Also, I think I actually find Arxur jokes funny. Don't judge me! Or do, I don't care, its the internet :P

It should go without saying you shouldn't feel bad AT ALL, both as a matter of principle and because you must be in the 99th percentile of writers in terms of consistency. Seriously, your ability to stick to a release schedule is absolutely insane. Just wondering... I never pressured you to take a break, but I always wondered why you never did. Was it because writing IS your break from your other responsibilities, were you wary of falling off the wagon, or something else? Maybe you already said why in discord but I'm basically never there.

You do not need to feel terrible about slowing down we will still be here because we love your story and we love you. Besides the fact that she'll have to explain that she arrived on Earth aboard the extermination fleet at eight years old, there's still an opportunity for a little humor in discovering that Cala is "more Earthling" than Taylor. Else, we'll never have too many Arxur. This race, rising from centuries of oppression, is certainly one of the most hype aspects of this universe.
