I think Katara was just one of those people born with exceptional abilities but what makes her a great bender is her dedication and drive to learn. She really commits to learning and studying as much as she can where as Aang is a bit more relaxed and carefree about it. Also love the reactions, so much fun to watch it along with you guys :)
