2020-11-02 03:43:18 +0000 UTCJust wanted to give a few notes on Book 2 (no spoliers though): season 2 x episode 7 you will love and have all the emotions. You will likely want to watch 2 x 8 and 2 x 9 back-to-back. You will also want to watch 2x10 and 2x11 back-to-back -- those episodes will especially be emotionally exhausting. 2x15 will be emotionally intense too. 2x16 through 2x18 are amazing plots that will keep you on the edge of your seats. I hope none of that was too spoiler-y

2020-10-31 00:26:31 +0000 UTCSeason 2 is probably most people's favorite season (I like season 3 the most, but 2 is very, very good). The themes are pretty deep and varied. The movie references/inspirations are everywhere. We get a truly tenacious villain, some things happen that really shake the team up, and there are some great standalone episodes. You're going to enjoy it. And yes, Azula is evil. She's clever, skillful, and truly screwed up. You kinda feel for her if you think about it, since she was shaped that way since childhood. But she's evil and there's no getting around it. And about Zuko..."What is the redemption for, here?" You'll see. Yeah he's a teenager who was abused and lost, but he also has to be responsible for his own decisions. It takes him awhile.
