It repeats itself over and over and this is the biggest issue with season 1, they force all this filler to drag it out and it doesn't feel natural at all. you can tell they didn't really know what they were doing. S2 is a bit better even tho it still has filler (especially in flashbacks ugh, episode 8 and 5 are really annoying)

The whole reason Eren got his head kicked off during their last fight is because he recognized Annie's fighting stance and figured it out. There's no reason to have such a deep doubt after you made a SEPARATE confirmation than the one Armin and Erwin made. I don't mean to be the nitpicky sort, but in this instance, Studio Wit's choice in adaptation hurts the perception of Eren's character.
