Thanks for the Armin love! He's been a favorite of mine since I first watched the show over half a decade ago, and a lot of people sleep on his character or think that's he's annoying, so thanks for seeing his strength and kindness. And yeah, Mikasa's story broke me when I first watched it, and it contextualized who she is now perfectly. I remember what hell it was to wait in between the episodes for this arc, so good luck to your emotions!

If you think about it, Armin, Mikasa, and Eren are all different parts of the mind, body, and heart connection, which is why they all complete each other. Eren is the heart, Armin is the mind/head, and Mikasa is the body.

2021-03-28 00:06:20 +0000 UTCAhh these batch of episodes (5-8) is still so iconic, loving your reactions! The relationship between Eren and Mikasa is a tough one. Mikasa’s whole world kind of revolves around him, especially with the way she lost her former family, it makes her all the more desperate to protect Eren. On the other hand Eren is so rebellious and always throws himself into danger, and gets disgruntled with the way Mikasa tries to shelter him. I don’t want to dig up the trauma from The 100 lol, but like you guys mentioned it’s somewhat similar to the dynamic between season 1 Bellamy/Octavia. Can’t wait for the next one <3
