Once you have completed season 1 I recommend watching or preferably reacting to some of the OVA episodes between season 1 and 2. Specifically watch OVA No Regrets part 1 and 2 and OVA lost girls which also has 2 parts. Let me know if I forgot to mention another important OVA episode. They don’t contain spoilers only backstory. I can say this they are well worth watching tho more specifically OVA no regrets is while Lost girls is not as important.
