2021-04-06 16:20:06 +0000 UTCThis episode is one of my personal favorites! It has such a good, large set piece to close the episode and it has one of my favorite camera shot parallels. Do you guys remember when Jesse is playing the shooting game in his house and the camera keeps popping in close on him, then back to the game, then a quick image of Gale, and so on? The shots here are the same when he's shooting Joaquim like his muscle memory kicked in on how to track and kill his target while shooting from that stance! Just wonderful, wonderful writing and directing!! Other than that it just shows how truly powerful, smart, and dangerous Gus is to have as an enemy! Watch out Walter ;)

Of course im excluding season 5 from that, because season 5 in it's entirety is on a whole 'nother level even by those episodes' standards and the next 3 wouldn't even be in my top 5 if i'd take S5 into account..
