I am so proud of how open-minded you guys are when it comes to characters. Yall always play devil's advocate and do your best to try to understand the positives of each character, even if they are only showing their negative ones. You ladies have the best reactions to everything.

She never acted immature, she acted irrationally because that’s how anyone would act in that situation. What Korra went through was not like what Aang went through. It’s not fair to compare them, especially when their upbringings and circumstances were completely different too. And let’s be real: most of her support system had no idea how to actually help her. It’s fine if you got frustrated with her but in reality people don’t just get over that sort of thing over night. I’d go into more detail but like you said, spoilers.

Of course I understood her struggle. I just didn't like the way they wrote her reaction to it. Discussing it more will get into spoilers, but suffice it to say for her age and support system in place (which was stronger than Aang ever had), she continued to act immature. And eventually I was just over it.

I’ve never encountered someone that said Korra by the end of the show was somehow worse. Huh. Is it because you didn’t understand her struggle? That’s a shame, especially considering how 4x2 did such a great job visualizing it

For me, I *loved* Korra in the beginning of the show. It wasn't until later that I found her annoying. By season 4 I was over her, and was watching chiefly for the other characters. But it will be interesting if I still feel that way as I watch these episodes again here.

Characters (and people tbh) that are abrasive tend to leave a poor first impression, but there’s always more to them than what’s on the surface. You got a glimpse this episode of how Lin respects people that show bravery and skill, and she’s a Beifong so she’s super skilled herself of course. She’s one of my favorite characters in the show, can’t wait for you guys to see more :)
