The English title was never supposed to be a translation of the Japanese one, it was decided by Isayama and his editor way before the manga started being officially translated into Eenglish. It's not that rare for anime/manga/ln to have a different english title. (Demon Slayer, A Silent Voice, Weathering with you, Ghost in the shell, just to name a few examples.)

Rod Reiss lost his family to grisha on the night the wall fell if I remember correctly, so when I put those two things together it makes me think that when grisha left his family he was setting out to steal the founding titan

Ur not suppose to understand the Mikasa Armin thing yet...its the next mystery now that marley has been revealed. Every titans memory is passed on to some extent, so each inheritor can see past inheritors memory. Eren did see Freida in his memory when she was combing her hair in front of mirror. Attack titan has memory connected both ways. Maybe Ymir wrote her letter with ink mixed with her blood. I don't know.

This is my biggest question so far about this anime. What is it about the memories of past inheritors? And how this "path" works? Since Eren has the Attack Titan and the Founding Titan, why he can see his father's memories but not Freida's memories? Is it because of the "vow" and the fact he is not from royal bloodline? And why he saw the memories after 5 years of inheriting the Attack Titan and not right away? One last thing. Why Historia was able to see Ymir's memories through Ymir's letter? Does Ymir's Titan has the power to pass memories through objects? Every time we think we are getting to the answers, we end up with more questions.

Grisha left Eren and his mother on the day the wall fell, remember when Eren asked his dad what he was doing and Grisha told him that he was heading for the interior to see some patients? and then said he'd show him the basement when he got back? he had finally tracked down the real Royal family and was leaving to steal the Founding Titan. I think that only Ymir's titan could actually climb that wall if she wanted to reach the marleyan's officers, but she was still a dumb titan so she could because maybe she was drawn to them but didn't understand how to. It also explains the scene in which Grisha's friend are transformed and run towards Grice, maybe they were drawn to all the marleyan's officers but couldn't climb the wall and chased Grice.

but as far as we know, the way the eldians turn into dumb titans is with bone marrow of smart titans, so if we take them out there is no way for anyone to turn into a titan, unless there is some other way that is yet to be revealed

And there you have it. One "spoiler" was in the title all along but the English translators for the title hid it by calling it "Attack on Titan" (or maybe it was coincidence or subpar translating). It should actually be read as "'Attack On' Titan", as in a titan that continues to attack on despite obstacles. But it's a good way to translate the title in a kind of faithful way while also hiding how that was the name of Eren's titan.

In my humble opinion, the major conflict here is not about the smart titans, but more to the dumb titans, which implies for all Eldians except for the Nine Titans. The Nine Titans can at least control their power and is capable of negotiating to form some type of agreement of peace. Whereas, the dumb titans cannot. Imagining this, if you are a normal citizen, would you want someone, who is capable to turn into a dumb titan and eat your entire family, to be your neighbor?

I think the show has a bug! u said u didn’t understand why ymir turnt to a titan and run away from the wall, but not at the marleyan injection officers because titans are attracted to large population. I think this is a bug!! technically they should be drawn to all the marleyan officers standing on the wall!! but instead they all ran away chasing grice….

No anime in history had been so complete, constant and of such quality in these fields: History, Animation, Maturity, Narration, Action, Emotion, Suspense, Mystery, Background of the story, Opening, Ending, Ost, Realistic while being fantastic, Epic moments, Imprevisibility, Combat, Immersion, Graphic design, Originality of the work, Rebound, Foreshadowing, Cliffhangers, Pace, Charism and evolution of the characters... Not once has there been unnecessary, boring or off-series moments. Each episode counts, it always contains details and information. Aot is Historic.
