There's one based around Jean and Sasha getting into a cooking competition plus his relationship with his mother and another of the trainees going on a mission together. It'll give you some wholesome time with the characters and feed your AoT viewers more content in the wait for season 4 part 2.

When you rewatch it you get to understand what all the vague shit they said really meant. For example when Eren asks Ymir "Who is the enemy" and Ymir simply replies "Who knows..." Because while its obvious she had the answer that Eren was actually looking for, she still really meant what she said.

Thats what the subscriber perk is advertised as. They never laid out an entire ground work of what they watch or when. Its not like they are deviating from a schedule that they set. For a very long time now they have been talking about watching these OVAs after S3. Never once did they take money from anyone and then bait and switch them. Everyone is getting EXACTLY what they signed up for and EXACTLY what was advertised to them.

2021-10-10 06:05:41 +0000 UTCthis ova is one of my favourites and it's significance is very important to her character. can't rlly explain the entire thing but a big part about mikasa's character is her trauma and how she deals with it and her ability to let go of the ppl she loves. and for her, she subconciously knows that eren's the type of person that she can't stop and it causes her to give herself a reality check, that when the time comes, it'll come but she still wants to be by his side cause he is her only home at the end of the day and it's her choice to do so. i've always said that in ema, mikasa represents the past and memories, eren represents the present ambtion and armin represents hope for the future, and it just becomes even more true as u continue to the watch the series. the lost girls manga is 100x better and provides SO much insight to her character and a lot of foreshadowing. So i recommend reading it in your free time. they cut out a lot in no regrets ova but they cut out way more in mikasa's and annie's, and they are one of my fav parallels portrayed in the show tbh

That S3 Part 1 end credit scene + S3 Part 2 OP really ruined many reactors' reactions to S3E18. All the best reactions come from people who skipped those. Sometimes studios can make bad decisions too that kill surprises.

They did not promise at the start of the month that they will get to those 2 episodes to begin with. If they promised and cannot deliver, then that's a different story. I don't think they need to refund or send people the 2 episodes, but it's very nice of them that they choose to do it.

No matter how much she alters the circumstances to her liking, or avoids them, Eren will die. So she toughens up and becomes a murderer, to protect him. The butterfly is probably referencing to the above.

2021-10-09 23:15:41 +0000 UTCHere is my own opinion on why the creator would make these OVAs not added into the story but as OVAs: the story of Aot itself is very tightly woven from its storytelling standpoint, whether people favor it or not, it is plot-driven show, with how everything are connected one after another. Nevertheless, there are some backstories that are interesting enough to show, but potentially ruin the flow of its story-telling and causing confusions. Therefore, OVAs seems perfectly fitting. As you can see, all of the OVAs, maybe except for the first one, are all character-driven stories. You can understand the major story-line perfectly without watching these OVAs, plus the concern that these episodes might turn out to be very polarized among the fandom similar to "Fly" from the Breaking Bad. Which leads to the hypothesis why they are OVAs, but not in the main story. And yet, why some people do not fancy you reacting to these OVAs instead of season 4

It had Ymir's send off to Historia, where it was quite obvious Ymir knew she is going to her death by helping out Reiner. As an audience back then, I did not want to point it out because it could hint out spoilers for her death. Maybe check it out to see how you feel second time watching it when you are free.
