And Kuvira wanted safety, she didn't WANT power, (I'll admit she fell to powers influence definitely) But she didn't go out searching for power, she went out for safety and order, because that was something that was traumatic to her. Saying "Zuko always had redeemable qualities because he was hurt", isn't an argument, because Kuvira has as well. The difference was their support system, even after his betrayal in book two and him LITERALLY HIRING AN ASSASIN TO KILL CHILDREN he still had Iroh around and that influence. Kuvira (as far as we're shown) didn't. Even Baatar had more direct support than Kuvira did. That was my major argument, even toph brings it up "He could have been a lot worse". And because of his support system (and we get to see it) is why Zuko can be seen as more noble, and can have a path towards redemption, because despite some of the points listed, in the beginning of ATLA, Zuko wasn't seeking redemption (or maybe I should say TRUE redemption) he was seeking approval.. That isn't noble. My argument of a support system holds even before he was scared, he had his mother. We never get to see That type of relationship with Kuvira, so I guess it's possible that Su was similar, but she was still the "odd child out", and still had something to prove She had to prove she was "worth something" the same way Zuko did. she just didn't have someone who was there telling her that she already was. That led to the power slide. "If I have power, obviously I'm worthy, and if I have power, I'm obviously safe, if I rule, my nation will have those too". I'm not saying to excuse what she does, the same way you really shouldn't excuse a lot of Zuko's actions.

Zuko was never as bad as them in the first place, he was a kid who got exiled for opposing a plan that sacrificed the lives of his nation's soldiers. Then he tried to hunt the avatar for a while and frequently failed cause he was put in situations where he didn't want to put lives at risk. Kuvira blew up a city, enacted a coup, conquered half of the world, tried to kill her own fiance, and invented concentration camps.

Nah. Zuko was not interested in power. He was looking for redemption and to regain his honor. This is a much more noble cause compared to Baatar and Kuvira who let power corrupt them.

Well the different thing is Zuko wanted his honor back to be respected by his father, but Kuvira just wants total power of the Earth Kingdom and all that jazz. I wouldn't call Zuko a tyrant y'know

I always get a kick of how everyone (viewers) have no remorse for Baatar, or Kuvira, when the exact opposite happens with Zuko. The argument can be made that Zuko was redeemable, but...literally because he had someone who saw him as such...All Baatar and Kuvira are, is just a Zuko with no Iroh.

i think people confuse not liking season 2 "as much as the the others" and not liking it at all. i still enjoyed it especially every scene with Varrick and Bolin. The live action movie was epic.

I feel like full metal alchemist: brotherhood would be a better series after avatar because of the natures of the shows and death note would fit after AoT better. But idk, really up to them, I will watch anything.
