That Gus was going to cover the entire tax burden, which was over $8000 on that stub alone. I just don't think Mike was comfortable with just sitting at home and collecting, plus he wanted to actually be able to say he did the job if it was ever questioned.

2021-11-11 21:48:19 +0000 UTCA couple of details that I love in this episode: the music playing at Chuck's funeral is the same piece that he tries to play on the piano in season 2. Also in the flash forward when Gene is passed out we see that the sink at the Cinnabon is overflowing, and then when Howard calls later Jimmy is standing at the sink just staring at the water pouring and Kim walks over and turns it off for him. It's a great visual metaphor for Jimmy having Kim in his life vs being completely on his own.
