considering that Jimmy is Chuck's only living relative around, yes, telling him how Chuck actually died is normal. I wouldn't hold it back either. Howard also had no idea about Jimmy sabotaging the insurance, so in Howard's mind, Jimmy role in pushing Chuck towards the edge wasn't as significant as his own, because he believed pushing Chuck out of the job was what caused his suicide. Howard also never had anything against Jimmy, giving him a place on the board was Howards way of making amends. Sure, maybe Kim was right and part of it was because Howard needs to relieve some guilt by doing something for Jimmy. But that's what amends are. It's a form of self redemption. Obviously theres nothing he can do to save Chuck but he can help Jimmy out, who was his last living relative. Even if Chuck and Jimmy weren't on the best pages this last year, they weren't always so distant in the past. Howard did his part and he's grieving the most probably out of everyone in that room. He was the one that was closest to Chuck aside from Jimmy but Jimmy no longer cares anymore. And all this plus he believed that he was the main reason why Chuck killed himself. The man is under more stress than anyone. So Kim should just keep her outburst to herself even if she was right or not.

@Don when it comes to what she said about him only telling Jimmy about the suicide and being part of the scholarship board it is absolutely fair for her to confront him. He came to their home on the day of the funeral to lay out a bunch of stuff that he needed to work out on his own. And the scholarship idea is such an amazingly tone def suggestion. Some of the other stuff is of course not Howard's fault like Chuck's final letter, but that's kinda moot when the anger fueling Kim's takedown of Howard is completely valid.

great acting and sure shes not wrong but its also not fair for her to say it to howard. anyone in howards place would have said something. hes also grieving over chucks death. his mind isnt on "trying to make jimmy feel better". not only is he grieving personally but the company is probably under stress too after one of their former members died by suicide. he has alot on his plate. plus, kim doesn't know that it was jimmy who screwed over their insurance which kinda led to the final nail in the coffin. tho i feel like even then, Kim woulda supported jimmy. Lets be honest here, Kim is a great character but shes not exaclty a good person either. Her and jimmys relationship isnt great. They enable each other. Jimmy tries to help her as much as he can even if it meant screwing others over, even chuck. Kim is willing to overlook Jimmy's worst habits even if she knew it was hurting others too.
