Death Note Episode 4 Reaction

I agree with you, killing people dont stop crime, but, at least he is saving more lifes than regular justice does

David Sanchez

L is the bad guy too. He tosses lives like garbage. They are two faces of the same coin!

btw i want to inform u that most of the ep of DEATH NOTE were directed by the same director who did some of attack on titan episode. u could notice that in the writing scenes in death note and odm gear in aot .

Ahmed Maooda

its true that everyone is inferior to him

first time I watched Death Note as a teenager I had the impression that Light was a hero that was corrupted by power. Now as an adult, it's so obvious to me that he is evil from the very start. I'm not even talkin about the moral dilemma of killing criminal or not, it's just the way that he sees everyone as inferior to him

What Light said was every time a Death Note reaches the human world, the world changes drastically, even if it's every 100 or 1000 years. Basically he's assuming that every time a Human has/had a Death Note, genocide happens, autointoxicating himself with the fact that what he's doing is the right thin, and not considering that a lot of people might think different and not use the Death Note again.

I'm nothing without your reaction of attack on titan lol

Not arguably worth it at all. It's so sad and disappointing how some people come out of watching this show actually thinking this way. If you really want to argue for a good use of the death note (though the real answer is to not pick it up in the first place) you'd do way more good by killing off fascist political figures around the world. Not by killing random people who may or may not have (wrongful convictions exist) committed random crimes.

Yeah, if light at least attempted to fix the root causes of these issues, it would be a lot easier to believe he actually cared about anyone but himself. Regardless, I adore the character just for how entertaining he is.

Do you guys actually have your eyes on the Arcane series on Netflix? It's a bit of a surprise hit at the moment. If you want to watch something short (9 episodes).

I mean yeah, Light's driving motivation is that he is bored. I feel like the other "make the world a better place stuff" is surface level.

Criminals fear him so crime rates have dropped. Does that justify what he's done? No. Does this help him build a better world? No. But it's still effective in reducing crime and with this Death Note having little other purpose, is it not arguably worth it to save innocents harmed by would-be criminals?

Great analysis of Light's character. Just like Walter from Breaking Bad, these two main character's biggest weakness are their own ego. Light could've gotten away with not giving any clues to L but time and time again, with the initial encounter which he could've ignored, and this episode, he loves to take on the challenge rather than letting it go. It's just like how a serial killer wants to leave clues rather than simply get away because they want to take credit for their killings.

GREAT episode, can you can start understanding the potential of the Death Note, and it's only ep4.
