also the casting is so good, like his father in the show looks so much like him

Wow. Never knew that! He was also raised by a single father just like Nacho.

Also, fun (?) fact, Michael Mando who plays Nacho was shot in real life, which really helped sell his performance. Here's a segment from an interview he did about season 4 where he talks about this scene: "I can tell you that that was some of the most excruciating stuff that I’ve gone through as an actor, because I’ve been shot in real life. When we were doing those scenes, they were using full caps, so it’s as loud as it can get. We were in the desert by ourselves, and those gunshots would echo like thunder. I had a very strong squib on my stomach that I hadn’t tested yet, that we hadn’t tested in rehearsal or anything like that. They’re usually perfectly safe. I was so anxious at that moment that I had dug my earplugs really deep into my skull and then as we rehearsed, I realized that I couldn’t find my earplugs anymore and had the medic pull them out. I had them in my fist. I was walking around the desert in character, they yell action, the scene starts, I’m walking around, and at the moment where I ask if I can make the call and I turn around, I realized that I still have the earplugs in my hands. When that gunshot goes off, my ears just shot off. I can’t hear a single thing, and I’m thinking back on that moment where I was shot myself, and the squib hits me so hard and you see the blood all over for the first time and I fall to the ground, and there’s a part of me that’s thinking, “We should cut,” because I feel like something went horribly wrong. (Laughs.) But then there’s the sort of actor part of me that’s thinking, “No, no, no. You’ve gotta use this. This is as good as it can ever get.” We ended up using that take."

One thing about the letter that I didn't pick up until rewatches is that the letter is all about how their mother felt about Jimmy, but nowhere in it does Chuck come clean about her final words in the hospital.

The scene where one of the twins donates blood to Nacho is so interesting. He technically now carries Salamanca blood. Such good writing.

That corpse is probably not as much of a red flag as you'd think. Tv and movies tend to make things neater than they really are. The ice that they put the body on would of slowed down rigor mortis and by the time the Salamancas get there body has heated up and the blue tint is gone. Sure it's still discolored and livor mortis has set in, but that's going to happen pretty quick with someone getting a head shot and then left baking out in the desert sun. If Nacho said that he passed out after getting shot and then woke up and called them, and then adding the time it would take for the twins to get there then yeah that body is gonna basically look like that.

@Dante I think you're thinking of something that hasn't happened yet. Unless there was more than one.

Absolutely!! The letter contradicts Jimmy and Chuck's final conversation in season 3, where Chuck said to him, "you've never mattered all that much to me." The irony isn't lost on Jimmy, who has no discernible emotional response and sarcastically says to Kim, "The man could write a letter." It's as if Jimmy sees through the feigned sincerity of the letter, which Chuck only intended to give Jimmy in the event of his death. A possible interpretation is that Chuck only tolerates Jimmy when the latter is at the bottom and scrapping for a living. He didn't see the Brothers McGill as equals, regardless of what he says in the letter.

It can also be gleaned from the line an episode or two ago "Oh yeah I'm really changing the world by helping a mid-sized local bank become a midsized regional bank. Yay me."

Dante

And honestly, I can't really blame Jimmy for that response

When that sniper was about to blow Jesse's head off Mike saved him

BNJ

Jimmy didn't care about the letter because all that is ringing in his head are the last words his brother ever said to him, "The truth is, you've never mattered all that much to me". Jimmy doesn't believe a word of that letter after everything he and Chuck went through, even though Chuck probably did mean it at the time of writing it.

Dante

It was supposed to be Bill Burr, but he was busy when Vince and Peter asked him to come back.

Dante

When has Mike saved Jesse?

Mike will save Jesse

About Chuck's letter, I think it was indeed written around the time Jimmy was in the mailroom. So Chuck actually WAS proud of him then, since he'd gone from "Chicago sunroof" and jail to a decent steady job and seemed to be doing well. I think what he wrote in the letter is generally true... for that time period. But everything changed when Jimmy became a lawyer. It's sad that these heartfelt feelings expressed in the letter were in fact conditional. As for Kim I'm not sure whether she's crying because she was touched, or because of Jimmy's reaction... probably a mix of both. Also might have felt guilty about how they treated him at the bar hearing. And also... Kim's reaction when she went back to work at Mesa Verde can be interpreted another way besides just feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work she has to do. (If this is saying too much then I'll delete it, but I think it can be gleaned from watching the scene closely).

Full in a few hours? :D

Gale was a recipient of the "Max Arciniega Chemistry Scholarship" that Gus established in honor of his friend. Gus paid for his college and Gale feels indebted to him. And he'll pay him back with a bullet to face.

yeah when I first watched BCS I had no clue who he was. Then I rewatched BB and when I saw him I was like "Holy shit!! It's that guy!!" lol

Taya

Gonna be honest I'm good at remembering characters and faces but he completely slipped past me. I didn't recognize him at all LOL!

BNJ

Okay, since you girls made the request to inform you of returning characters when they appear, the guy Jimmy hired to steal the Hummel is Ira, the same guy who owns and runs Vamanos Pest in Breaking Bad.
