And given that Mako and Bolin basically only knew their parents for a short time, they weren’t given all the parental advice that they most likely needed to avoid messing up the way they do.

And just cause two people are attracted to each other doesn't mean they'll automatically start making out. They both rekindled a flame, and it's obvious. Which is why Asami looked pissed when he allowed Korra to believe they're still in a relationship.

2021-07-17 01:16:28 +0000 UTCWell... everybody make mistakes, they are teenagers, their flaws don't make then bad people, yeah yeah indeed... BUT I actually think there are not excuses in that case. There are many moments when we judge characters but if we think well things make sense and they are not necessarily wrong, there are reasons behind it and everything. But I just think it was bad writing in this case tbh.

There is literally no good reason why Bolin doesn’t believe him other than plot purposes. But one thing for sure is that Mako doesn’t hold grudges, so he accepted Bolin’s apology without hesitation. Which is great since he should cut his little brother some slack for messing up. But if I were Mako I definitely would hold that against Bolin and Asami for not believing your close friend, like they could have at least entertained the idea like they both said in the reaction.

2021-07-16 21:35:50 +0000 UTCafter korra left asami kissed him mako did nothing wrong. asami and mako were not back together they said it themselves and yes ik they had that little moment in his apartment but that was just them being physically attracted to each other. so at that point when korra came back and kissed him no one was in the wrong. as fans we just feel for asami the most because of all that she has lost and it just felt like mako didn't take her feelings into consideration but the truth could be said for the adults in the room that know they broke up before korra left lol i feel like they could have turned this season into a romcom if they wonted to 😂
