The Legend of Korra 3x05 Reaction

Izumi means fountain or spring in Japanese. Remember when Zuko and Mai fell in the fountain when they were kids. I really disliked how they had them break up in the comics, but I think in the end it wasn't confirmed whether they got back together or not. I choose to believe they did, and Izumi's name is a nod to that.

I knew right away that was Zaheer, he was there looking for Korra. But also looking for more info on Airbending. As for Suyin, her and Lin both have a history together, glad you two got to meet her now. Toph wasn't always the greatest parent, same with Aang. They were great at their jobs, and at bending, but parenthood not so much.

Haha, Milena's Toph prediction wasn't too far off, actually! I also found it funny how it took them most of the episode to recognize Zaheer (when that's how he looks for the rest of the season, so that's how most of us think of him now). I can't remember for sure how long it took me - I think his voice was a bigger give away for me. Love the fight with Kya! The bending fights in this season are some of the best out of both shows!

Yeah, they could, but its never been confirmed who Izumi's mother is. Tbh, most fire nation women look very similar to both Mai and Izumi - I think it could be anyone.

Just look at his daughter... It's clearly see who is a mother. I mean they can get back together just like comics creator said. And her name also reference for two girls Mai and Jin...I think it was Mai

Mai broke up with Zuko a year after his coronation. It was shown in the comics. Unfortunately, we do not know who was Izumi's mother.

Something telling me that the reason of why Lin and Korra have that personal bond is because Lin didn't become mother and maybe she seeing Korra as her daughter. It's only my personal opinion

True, but I feel she did it because Lin's treatment of Opal, I don't think it came out of nowhere. Does that make it right, no, but I think its natural to react like that, especially from a teenager/young adult in that kind of situation.
