"Let go your earthly tether. Enter the void. Empty and become wind." - Guru Laghima. I love the philosophy they include in the avatar universe, and in a way this one even shows up in ATLA when Guru Pathik is training Aang to master the Avatar State. It's the last step in unlocking the chakras before gaining access to the cosmic energy of the universe, letting go of that which attaches you to this world. | : ] '

If you thought the animation was good so far, just wait. Arguably one of the best fights in the whole show (hell, both shows) is this season.

Jacob

yeah i agree, i just think korra shouldn't have made that meeting happen in the first place, she had good intentions but she also has no idea why lin is the way she is and she shouldn't force thay on her but again she's very young so it makes sense thay she would try to do it, no one is right here

Also I'm glad you mentioned the animation because good lord all of Zaheer's fight scenes are beautiful and badass. Also the fight with Mako and Bolin fighting together in the last episode was awesome. Beautifully animated

It's Lins fault for being a lion. Thats the point. A teen should never be afraid of her aunt. That's bullshit

Lorenzo Baxter

Ngl thought you were saying Korra has spent more time with Opal than Korra has spent time with Lin 🤣🤣 Still doesn't change the fact she's not a therapist/family psych it aint her place lmao having a personal chat/trying to find out whats wrong like with Su is fine but bringing the innocent teen to a lions den like come on lol

SupremeCai

In my opinion, Korra insulting Lin is understandable. Neither of them were right in that scene. But due to Lin's attitude and coldness toward Korra since Season 1 from Korra's perspective she's just seeing Lin take her aggression out on her niece for no reason,

Jyn Jilly

Agreed, Lin has always been like that since Korra has known her. She’s an adult she should know better than to yell at an innocent teenage girl who was nothing but sweet towards you.

shady07

Why? Why don't you? If something is wrong, you can't blame someone for wanting to help. Minding business is such a dumb line. It makes no sense. All she wanted was peace. It's not like she was bordering on homewrecking. The only consequences of getting involved in something are towards the person getting involved. So if she doesn't care, you shouldn't either. Jesus.

Lorenzo Baxter

They were both wrong lol. Korra can call out bs without insulting Lin. Korra is well aware she has not spoken to her sister in 30 years, it’s definitely not ok to call someone a bitter lonely woman over something she only knows 1 side of the story to. Lin wasn’t right to lash out on Opal, you are right with that, but that scene doesn’t happen if Korra just minded her own business. she has good intentions but compare it to real life, no one gets involved in someone else’s family personal matters, you just don’t.

G

Uh hello? Yes she has. Not sure you're too good at paying attention. This episode was the first time Opal has met Lin. Korra spent quality time training with Opal. I'm sure off camera they've talked too. Lin literally spent the entire episode avoiding everyone. Yes. Korra has spent more time with Opal than Lin has.

Lorenzo Baxter

Korra has not spent more time with Opal than our S1 bae Lin lmao

SupremeCai

I get that it wasn't korras business, but it wasn't cool for Lin to be so hostile to her niece, doesn't matter what Lin has been through. You can't take that out on a young teenager who looks up to you, and sees you as a hero. Hell, Korra had spent more time with Opal then Lin had. So it makes sense and it's a good thing that Korra calls out Lins bullshit. I love Lin so much, but you gotta call out bullshit when you see it.
