2021-08-26 07:23:02 +0000 UTCIt just occurred to me (this is the only time I’ve rewatched this episode in full for the since first watching it a couple months ago) that the fact that little Levi was just sitting in the room with his dead mother, and not going get anyone or tell anyone that she was dying/dead, means that the two of them were so alone and so uncared for his whole childhood that the thought didn’t even cross his mind to let someone know. He just sat there. Because no one had ever helped or cared in the past.

2021-08-25 22:41:34 +0000 UTClove how this episode explains a lot about Levi, both why he's so small and why he's such a clean freak. also I love the revelation that Levi thought Kenny was his father the whole time, love Levi smiling too (seeing this reaction makes me really wish they ended the episode with that scene like in the source material so you actually had time to let the moment sink in, sigh). also like how Kenny's motivation was essentially being compassionate, and he may not have got that in the end but Levi was able to and I think that's why he smiles, because he's happy he has friends
