we have now entered what i call the best 5 part ending to a season ever. these next few episodes feel like a movie enjoy ladies, also get the tissues out u are going to need them

2021-09-04 18:42:44 +0000 UTCWell not so much about the spiritual part, but without spoiling, they want her for something. The Avatar holds more power and authority than the girls seem to think. Korra can make decisions for the world no one else can. To someone like Zaheer, that just spells out "Bad News" the avatar is no better than someone like the Earth Queen (to the Red Lotus anyways)

2021-09-03 06:45:05 +0000 UTCThat's interesting. I didn't think the Red Lotus was against spiritual leaders. I mean, not automatically. I'm sure they aren't impressed with the job their world's spiritual leaders have done historically or even presently, but I understood their position to be that heads of state and other political authorities were an intrinsic obstacle to balance. Maybe spiritual leaders not technically necessarily being part of that problem is a theoretical distinction they don't care about though, with how often spiritual leaders do in fact get involved with political systems.

2021-09-03 03:36:02 +0000 UTCZaheer basically wants anarchy. He believes that the power to decide one's fate should rest with the individual, not a government system. He doesn't imply for things to remain in chaos though. Just that CHAOS will create NEW GROWTH and CHANGE, as was the quote by guru Laghima. But as you said, the cycle will inevitably resume. People will always form groups, tribes, clans, and eventually government systems. It's our natural inclination. Zaheer tries to do away with it, but it's human nature (for now at least) for us to have governments. You can't forcefully remove them. Won't work.

I know Korra is our girl, but she is NOT a kid anymore lol π she's 18 at this point. She was 17 in book 1, 6 months passed, so I'm pretty sure she's an adult.

In the Last Airbender opening, the Chinese writing above the word Avatar means something like: "Spiritual being from the universe meant to restore balance." Besides, Zaheer does want her captured so think about what that could be for.
