I couldn’t help but laugh when Lola kept asking if those seniors were from Sandpiper when the bus they were on was plastered with Sandpiper logos. Second, sure Jimmy talked to Alma May and the rest of the seniors listened in which is fine except for the obvious fact that Jimmy paid the bus driver to fake engine trouble in order for Jimmy to basically ambush the bus haha.

Thing is, a commercial like Jimmy's wouldn't just go away if one of Davis & Main's richer clients saw it. Old folks might find it charming, but most people would probably see it as an attempt at emotional manipulation, which puts Davis & Main's reputation at risk, since their name is on it. If you're a business owner trusting these lawyers to handle a large merger or whatever, and you see them on TV trying to pull heartstrings for a class-action, it would probably worry you about what sorts of tactics they might end up using for your own case, affecting your reputation too. Jimmy's commercial is well-made & effective at client outreach, but he's putting his employer's reputation at risk for the sake of a single class-action lawsuit that's barely gotten started (they last years).

Both of you are really feeling the show, and in that way you are understanding the struggles of both Mike and Jimmy and now Kim too, better than I've seen other reactors. You get their hopes and what is in their heart of hearts,. and thus the ride to the end is gonna be that much sweeter. Like last episode when Mike felt bad for Pryce wanting his dad's baseball cards back, because Mike probably was thinking about Matty and his granddaughter, I had never thought about it that way.

The problem with your thinking that if the phones ring it makes it okay is that's the same thinking that gets Jimmy in trouble all the time. Jimmy thinks as long as the end result works out then it doesn't really matter how you got there. This is extremely backwards for the legal field as everything is about doing things by the book and never cutting corners. Jimmy cutting chain of command and airing a commercial without ever cluing in any of the partners is a HUGE no no and would never go over well in real life either.

I really don't think the writers intended to hint at her trying to get a house and money from Mike. I think it was always intended to show her PTSD and how she was still struggling with what happened to Matty, especially after Mike told her everything.

Jimmy is interesting because no matter how much we support him, he STILL did those things. Even though Chuck was being a douchebag in the conference room putting Jimmy on the spot like that, Chuck is still right. Jimmy REALLY DID solicitate those old folks (which is illegal). And no matter how much we want Jimmy to clap back at Chuck with some snarky remark, he can't because Chuck is still right. All the troubles of Jimmy would go away if he would just play things straight and not take shortcuts.

A detail that some people don't seem to catch onto is that Stacey moved halfway across the country. She even mentions in the first season that it's completely different from where they were before. It's clear that she had to have a complete break from where her life with Matty was. And now in that house she finds the money, and also the truth about what happened to Matty and how it's destroyed Mike. It's no surprise that for someone like Stacey that brings forward all of her ptsd from everything that happened.

I really appreciate that you guys believe that Kaylee's mom isn't lying and is instead just really freaked out and possibly suffering ptsd. Especially after hearing Mike's full story it just makes so much sense to me. It always bothers me when reactors stick with the idea of her just trying to get money and a house from Mike and whatnot. It's not implausible but to me her being legitimately freaked out always made more sense to me. And of course your love for Jimmy and Kim gives me liiiiiife. Anyway love the reaction as always and cannot wait for more <3
