Cartoon Network for example had been criticized for its intense focus on the mindless entertainment from shows like "Teen Titans Go", but the context that a lot of networks have been facing include lower viewership since people are playing more and more video games for example, and just generally speaking that there are so many distractions and instant entertainment options that a lot of network stations are having trouble keeping the attention of viewers. so it leads to rapid-fire style entertainment, especially in children's shows. To be fair, that probably wasn't Korra's problem, but idk.

2021-09-12 16:42:11 +0000 UTCI think part of it is because Tenzin was part of the original group who put them away when they were after toddler Korra, and now they've gotten out and are coming after Korra AGAIN. So if it's just him, he feels some responsibility to protect her (as well as everyone else there). He'll do all he can to fight them off.

2021-09-10 04:18:43 +0000 UTCTenzin would of absolutely won. Zaheer didn't land one blow on Tenzin, and Tenzin landed several and kept driving him back. Even 3 on 1 Tenzin regrouped and started to win. It wasn't till he took a direct hit by the 4th member did his defense begin to crumble.

For some reason, Nickelodeon was losing faith in Legend of Korra at the time it was still airing and they thought it wasn't popular enough to air the final two seasons on television.

2021-09-09 22:42:12 +0000 UTCi agree! i think its pretty obvious that zaheer must have been an amazing fighter before he was an airbender, and it’s impressive that he’s as good as he is at air bending all things considered. He held his own against tenzin, but for part of that fight scene it seems like he’s mostly just retreating and dodging tenzin’s blows. i think tenzin would have taken him down if it had stayed a 1x1 and zaheer’s friends didnt show up. and a younger tenzin couldve wiped him out easily imo.

2021-09-09 22:34:33 +0000 UTCTenzin had Zaheer running like a little bitch. I hated when Zaheer resorted to playing dirty in order to win when I first watched it. But this episode is always tense no matter how many viewings I have of it. The fight scene at the end is brilliant.
