The Legend of Korra 4x01 Reaction

Comments

Might be the episode in the show imo

Trent_88

It's Korra day, let's go

Jyn Jilly

Hahahaha C'mom, it's called figure of speech

Camelot B

Where did I come off as not chill lol

ML9

Bro, chill lol. I know how many episodes it has, already said it twice. If they will watch it or not is up to them... Is obvious the chances are extremely low, that's the reason I said it is just a dream. I'm not even trying to convince them to watch it: I like One Piece, I like them. They enjoy great stories, I'm mentioning one. They are not an anime channel but already said they are open to dig into animations in general if they like it. They probably WILL watch other animes (they will make a pool). No need to be arrogant just because someone mentioned something you don't like.

Camelot B

Y'all over here arguing about whether Kuvira sucks or is trash, and I'm over here itching for S4E2 :D

AvatarKorraBestAvatar

So we've had a radical rebel with genocidal tendencies, a psychotic devil worshiper, an anarchist terror organization, and now the female version of Stalin. You've got to give it to the creators for going all out when creating their villains.

David Scolare

They will not react to a 1000 episode anime lol fuck I've been watching anime for years now and I've never watched it yet (if ever). We don't even know if they will ever react to another anime period since they aren't an anime reaction channel. AoT is the only one they've reacted to and LM have been around since 2017.

ML9

Precisely. On a larger scale, there's really not another way for someone to unite the Earth kingdom without some kind of allegiance contract. I just think the show goes a bit heavy-handed too quickly with the ominous music and the evil smirks to shade Kuvira as a corrupt dictator, whereas her actions would've spoken for her eventually. If they had played Kuvira's deeper ambitions closer to the vest in this episode, then Bolin following her wouldn't seem out of place either.

Dake Weng

To be fair, governments and organizations arent built off charity. To get resources and benefits from the system, you have to follow the system. Kuvira isnt running a charity. The air nomads are like the avengers but they cannot provide stability with the numbers/resources thye have. With an army and an actual government, Kuvira can actually stabilize the country. However, she cant do it base on free food and just helping ppl for free. They have to pay taxes, follow their laws in order for them to actually function. Or else how would Kuvira pay her own soldiers.

Danny

Kuvira threatens to leave a bunch of people stuck to a track to be crushed to death when the next train comes. Lola: I'm getting bad vibes.

Jacob

The next four seasons of Dragon Prince should come out fairly quickly. The reason for the big gap between season 3 and 4 was that they hadn't received confirmation they would get 7 seasons until after season 3 and then covid hit.

Lee

i need it to be thursday IMMEDIATELY

Tori Dingeldein

Women AND Men. πŸ˜‰ Damn short hair Korra is Bae 😍 but the pain she has gone through while so young and has the weight of the world on her shoulders, it's amazing that she hasn't cracked. I know very few people could handle pressure like that.

Lorenzo Baxter

Deathnote or Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood are good choices. If you want to get them to love a show, then let's vote on the show with strong relationships, especially if they're siblings. LM goes nuts for sibling stories lol. FMA fits perfectly, and the story is extremely original and well developed.

ODIS

Next episode is one of my favorites of the whole series

Zach Woodbury

CastleVania. Completed 4seasin arc. Yall would love ir

PamRenea

Omg yes. She-ra is your guys type of show. You would love it

PamRenea

My hero academia is another good show too!

Elder

Woman actually 😊

sand_fl

Well, if you say so... guess your taste must be the ultimate standard. It doesn't matter anyway, is not about the humor (that is pretty the same in every shounen) is about the amazing story, characters and world Eiichiro Oda made. When you get absorb by the story the numbers of episodes is not a problem AT ALL. But too much episodes is the problem I mentioned, only because would be hard fit their schedule Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

Camelot B

Ah, men of culture I see.

SupremeCai

You should watch some YaBoyRoshi then since they have some great Violet Evergarden reactions to the definite shock moments that they create with juxtaposition and buildup throughout the series lmao

SupremeCai

Here comes Kuvira Kai Shek cleaning the (Warlords) bandits. It's more Nationalist China than Nazi Germany

Arshan

The humour in One Piece is for adolescent boys. And there are about 1000 episodes...

Robert H.

My dream is One Piece reactions. One of my favorite shows by my favorite reaction channel... But we all know what the main problem is xD

Camelot B

Rob H are you serious LMAOOO I can't imagine that show with anymore seasons jesus. Maybe it's just me but I could barely get through the first 2, 7??? Over a decade+?? Jeeeeez

SupremeCai

The beginning of the end ;-; Love that ya'll are as hype for whatever Avatar Studios is working on just like us lol

SupremeCai

Who knows?

Robert H.

Yup I know, and she was on the cover of a newspaper someone was reading in one of the episodes, but figured the scene with the "You can call me, Kuvira" bit was more relevant

Brandon

You don't think the girls will figure out Erased immediately?

she was also the one who fought Zaheer when his crew broke into Zaofu to kidnap Korra

shady07

Kuvira might look familiar to you because she was the guard from the end of Book 3 of Korra who rescued Korra's father from the cliff. She was bandaging up his arm when he thanked her and she said "You can call me, Kuvira" and it was very foreshadowy the way they did it

Brandon

same short hair korra is my queen

GodKingSosa

The girls will watch what they wanna watch

wade

I have also seen Violet Evergarden in its entirety: The series and the two films. I just don't think it's a series you want to watch a reaction to. The story is nice and has an interesting main character, but it lacks plot twists, turns, real shock moments. It's more something they could watch in private.

Robert H.

I’m a simp for short-haired Korra ngl, but it hurts like a bitch seeing her like that. And I don’t know if you noticed but she’s less muscular than in the previous seasons, specially in the arms. Anyway, loved the reaction :)

sand_fl

lol u beat me to it

GodKingSosa

I think the 3 seasons that are out now have wrapped up pretty nicely. I'm not sitting here clamoring for more Dragon Prince. I'm glad they're making more, but if they had canceled it at this point, I would've been okay. This show certainly wouldn't be the only one on this channel that requires waiting for episodes.

jveezy

For a longer anime my suggestion would be Hunter x Hunter and for a short, beautiful in every aspect anime is Violet Evergarden!

wade

Some of my favorite shows are "My hero academy" and "Black Clover". DEFINITELY worth checking out after you finish Korra.

Stiven Goldrin

With Dragon Prince, I would wait a little longer. There are supposed to be 7 seasons and the fourth season is supposed to come out sometime next year. If they keep up the current pace, the final season won't come until 2030. I wouldn't recommend the series to them until season 5 is released.

Robert H.

Korra and Naga are the best girls for sure, and tenzin is a good bro. Also only way you could put up with Varrick is if you love him.

TrixieTurner

Finally the best voice actress aka Zelda Williams (kuvira) in the best reaction channel, I'm soooo ready for that

askyeyV

And/or She-ra

ZedW

Since Korra is slowly coming to an end: Do you already have a new show in mind? If you want to watch an animated series again (which is already finished, so no years of waiting necessary), then I have four suggestions: (1) Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood This series of about 69 episodes is one of the classics of anime, along with Attack on Titan. The structure of the series is relatively similar to Avatar The Last Airbender: children/teenagers are the focus in a relatively dark setting. The first third is kept rather childlike, as in Avatar, yet very serious topics come up here and you get to know the world. In the second third, it gets noticeably more serious and the problems bigger. In addition, a new decisive character is added. The last third sees the story come to an end with a grand finale and many exciting twists with lots of action. I think you would enjoy it. Moreover, the English dubbing is really really good. Some even say that the English dubbing is better than the Japanese one. So you can watch the anime in English as well. (2) Death Note I believe that you have read the name many times. Also a typical anime classic. This one plays a lot with your moral concepts. What makes this anime so exciting is the "mental chess game" between the two main characters. How does he go about it and how does he react? The guessing along and the resolution of the "chess move" is what makes the series so good. With 37 episodes, the anime is also relatively short. Theoretically, you have a free choice when it comes to the synchro, since the English dubbing actors do a good job. However, many prefer the Japanese synchro. (3) Rainbow Nisha This anime is very popular, but has hardly any reactions on YouTube. Therefore, I do not know how many views you can expect here. The manga Rainbow is written by George Abe (1937 - 2019) and illustrated by Masasumi Kakizaki. Abe wrote the series based on his own experience in prison. The anime is very very dark and sad and sort of defines the drama. I would say that the story could just as well be made into a real film in Hollywood. There is nothing special, nothing "magical". The story and the very well written characters just keep you going and convince all along the line. And again, the series is a good short length with 26 episodes. (4) Erased And my last suggestion: Erased. This anime is just something special. With 12 episodes you have an exciting short crime thriller with a little gimmick that introduces the story at the beginning. You ultimately search for a murderer in the story and see your main character preventing the murderer's actions. This anime is really popular, especially with its appearance on Netflix it has gotten a lot more attention. With a production year of 2016, it's not a classic, but it's in the top 15 on many top lists, so it's well on its way there. (5) Other recommendations The following anime are also pretty good, just not so sure about these if they fit your preferences. But I wanted to list them. I made sure that they are finished like the top four. With many anime (like Attack on Titan) there are 10 years between the first and the last episode. You don't have to go through this kind of suffering. With OneOuts, however, you unfortunately have an open ending, since the manga was only adapted up to the first big finale. - Monster - Terror in Tokyo - Mirrai Nikki - Code Geass - Parasyte - Kukuro no Basket - Haikyu - Angel Beats - One Outs - Psycho Pass (Semi-Ending with Season 1 or 2, It's complicated)

Yess a poll would be great

Saumyadeep Bhattacharjee

we’ll probably make a poll or something when we come closer to finishing the show 😊

LM Reactions

watched only two episodes of season 4 so far but it started amazing 😊

LM Reactions

If you're looking for what to watch after Korra, I suggest The Dragon Prince on Netflix, which has a very similar vibe and some familiar voices.

jveezy

Awww Korras alone...

levi polacek

Watch deathnote meanwhile after S4 of tlok πŸ˜….. This season of tlok I love almost as much as s3 even though s3 will always be my favourite.
