Just saw that Season's 3 & 4 both received 100% ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, not a small feat !

2021-09-25 19:48:54 +0000 UTCDon’t forget Aangs teaching “When we hit our lowest point we are open to the greatest change” Korra has been running away from her trauma and when she finally hits her lowest point mentally she has no choice but to call out for “Help” and then she finds Toph. It’s one of the most poetic episodes in the Avatarverse

2021-09-24 02:39:15 +0000 UTCIn regards to your thoughts of Korra going into the Avatar State so that Toph could "speak with" Aang, There's a piece fan thought (just for fun) that when Korra is racing the airbender children on air-scooters in the beginning of season 2 she not only went into the Avatar State to win, but also to let Aang "play" with his grandchildren.

2021-09-23 20:48:23 +0000 UTCTbh I always though it would be better if Toph made an appearance in 4x03 instead of this one because sometimes Toph’s come back overshadows the greatness of this episode. In my opinion this is one of the best episodes of both shows. I’ve always said that while I agree that atla is the better show I’ve always enjoyed tlok more, maybe because I’ve always felt a connection with her character. This episode, like you both said, deals with really mature themes and while it hurts it's also comforting to see things you struggle with depicted in shows or movies. Loved the reaction girls, hope you have a great weekend.
