Even on episodes that I consider average for this show (I love all the episodes, I don't say average in a bad way), they enjoy themselves so much that it hypes me up as well. 2022-05-07 19:31:42 +0000 UTCdon't get me wrong, i do like this dub, not as far as the original but i do like it. so far the only voices i don't like are tge father's and ling's, which is not a lot considering att the characters this show have and i do agree it's easier to understand in the dub i just watched it in the sub originally and it's how i knew the characters so it's normal i like it more that way

2022-05-07 18:39:47 +0000 UTCI think the sub and dub VA performances are both great for different reasons but the main reason why I think dubs are superior for an audience that isn't fluent in Japanese: every version I've seen of the subtitles for the Japanese version are awful. They're way clunky and sometimes just end up conveying the opposite meaning of the original dialogue. I usually prefer original audio w/subtitles but the English translation is much more fluid IMO, especially since the performances are generally just as strong in FMAB.

2022-05-07 17:29:01 +0000 UTCso far i've been pleased with the dub though i prefer the original by far but i have to admit that i kinda hate the voice they chose for ling, but doesn't suit him at all in my opinion. i also mentioned i didn't like the father's voice because i think it lacks character, but god, ling's dub is way worse i did like the voice they chose for may, la fan and fu i do have a question about the sub when i watched the show for the first two times i did it on netflix in spain and the subtitles translated alkahestry with another name and i camnot remember which was netflix here doesn't have fmab in their catalog and i can't find it anywhere
