And Holden rightfully got a lot of shot for doing so. And I don't think the fact that Alex was a Martian was ever a secret. Naomi gave a planet destroying alien weapon to the OPA after lying to her crew about destroying it, I'd say that takes the cake.

At the time, both of those things were very significant pieces of information that everyone should have had. The anger towards Naomi seems much more prolonged. Even Miller shooting Dresden got set aside after much less time.

2022-05-11 23:42:53 +0000 UTCYep, finding Nauvoo wasn't a problem. Catching up to it and returning with it was a massive problem. Nauvoo was moving really fast as it approached Eros. When it missed, they cut thrust, but they couldn't turn it around to stop it. So it was stuck on an escape trajectory out of the solar system. They knew its trajectory so they knew where it would be. It might also have had an active transponder broadcasting its position. By the time Drummer's fleet left to catch Nauvoo, it was already well on its way out of the solar system. Drummer would have had to burn long and hard to catch up to it. By that time, it would have been even farther way. And they still had to turn it around and burn back into the system. So, in short, it was a huge job that mostly happened off screen. Drummer got it done. 👍🏽

2022-05-11 20:30:40 +0000 UTCFinding the Navuo would have been easy, it was drifting at the same speed it was going when the last engine burn stopped so it's essentially just math - figure known velocity with known time since that burn for its location and just go there. The hard part is putting together the resources and the equipment to accomplish salvage and retrofit.

2022-05-11 14:20:58 +0000 UTCNaomi is a great character, i didn't even know there was hate for her until you brought it up When i was watching the episodes live i never saw any hatred towards her, quite the opposite Her story keeps evolving like any other character and I bet it was just neckbeard fans upset she was getting her spot in the light rather than seeing more of what they wanted I guess people will complain about anything, but its up to you two to decide if those comments deserve your time of day. Fun fact: Bobby's actress is known on set as "one take Frankie" (her real name is Frankie Adams) or something along the lines of that (you'll have to watch the behind the scenes when you're done the show) Because she normally nails her lines in one take. Great reaction, can't wait for you two to finish this amazing season

The producers said that SyFy (the network they were on when this episode aired) kept complaining about all the "f-bombs" in the script, but nobody complained about a young child "disassembling" a person. 😀

He seems like a very the ends justify the means kind of person so if it gets results then it is worth it. Even if it means experimenting on children.

2022-05-11 08:14:06 +0000 UTCIts really weird to me that Naomi gets so much hate. Shes absolutely beloved by the Screaming Firehawks community as one of the biggest badasses in the history of sci-fi. There really wasnt any hate for her at all until Amazon picked up the show and more people started watching it and a certain neckbearded segment of the viewership really got angry about how much the story focuses on her in coming seasons. Personally it blows my mind that this show was Dominique Tippers first major acting role, and she didnt even get an Emmy nod, let alone the win she clearly deserved, for her work later on in this show.
