Once thing to note regarding the priest, He was telling Anna, just a brief moment ago, he wanted to stay as he thought it was pity and a disapoimtment, he was force to leave, before crossing the ring. This is why Anna, went to him, when she found a way to stay. He was being dishonest regarding staying, while Anna, was not.

2022-06-02 18:19:59 +0000 UTCDefinitely agree with you. Season 6 is not even in my top 3 seasons, but the finale is my #5 episode of the show. There's really nothing wrong with the season, just compared to the others it didn't cover as much ground, but that finale was amazing. I am holding out hope that we will get to see books 7-9 adapted years down the line.

Okay, the last season was good, but probably not the best... but it worked to wrap things up for me at least. That said, I think I've liked all of the seasons more equally re-watching since they work well as parts of a whole.

2022-05-31 00:08:35 +0000 UTCI really like Anna's character, but yeah I totally get thinking her decision to stay on the ship is a failure as a parent. I'd probably mostly agree, even. But one of the best things about Expanse is how complex most of the characters are, and part of that is having even some pretty substantial flaws and making bad choices. I think she's a pretty good representation of someone caught between family, curiosity, a need to take an opportunity to be a part of something entirely unique, etc. Also, even if it wasn't something she seemed to be consciously considering I think having at least someone focused more on humanistic implications involved in the unknown maybe first contact in the ring is a good thing.
