I believe this is the main reason Sasha had to die. She's too good for this world, or more accurately what this world has become. Not that it was sunshine and rainbows to begin with, but the final season is certainly much darker than the previous ones.

Glad you guys are pushing through these episodes they were so mentally taxing for me it felt like any ounce of happiness and innocence that was left had been sucked out of the story, I feel for ALL of the characters I just wish all the pain and suffering would stop for all of them. That's when I knew this was such a brilliant development of a tragic story. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next half of the season and I hope they can find peace

On this, it was shown in the S2 credits before it was even shown in the manga. The panel in the manga isn't exactly the same so it was more of a small easter egg but in the anime they used the exact shot so it's more obvious

The S2 ending has heavy info about the future of the lore, like the Rumbling, it's literally there, the Titans walking, and in S3 when Gisha and Kruger are talking about that rumbling treat, they show the same animation. And more things that i'm not gonna say for obvious reasons.
