The season is rumored to be ending after chapter 131, 132-139 sounds more like 5-6 episodes to me, 7-8 may not be far off either, but a 2 or 2 1/2 hour movie seems more than enough. This is also assuming there are no retcons, but thats an entirely different topic I don't want to get to on LM's comment section

The third part would be 7-8 episodes for the remaining 2 1/2 hours. I still think it’s super rushed to shove potentially 8 episodes into a movie that likely won’t push past the 2 hour mark. No spoilers, but I’d also rather have a full 20-25 minute dedicated episode winding down the story after whatever the “final battle” may be than a movie rushing the ending after the last action sequence

I disagree, look no further than the Demon Slayer movie to see what animation studios can do when they get that kind of time and budget. Coming back for a 3rd part with 5-6 episodes makes no sense imo. The only downside to a movie is that Japan will have it in theaters for a good chunk of time before anywhere else and there will be spoilers everywhere unless you watch a cam quality version somewhere (which I will 100% do lol)

comes down to how much time/budget they wanted to spend on the rumbling to animate it, they could cut alot of that and make it in 12 episodes. I hope they don't rush it but studio's do it all the damn time with adaptations

I hope it’s not a movie, there’s about two and a half hours of story left if the 12 episodes leave off where I think they will and a movie will just rush it. I think a movie will rush the ending regardless because it’s about the hype and pretty animation, I’d want a full episode winding the story/show down instead of “final battle, the end”

i wound't mind they did a 3rd part or a movie if they were clear, i don't know if they're trying to prolnog it for audience or what but i'd like if they told us what is going to happen i do prefer it's still part of the show (like another part after this one) because a movie wouldsurely be released in theatres and it could take months for other countries to release it and for it to be availabe on the internet after it's released it japan (i'm still waiting for thejjk movie to be availabe here), and not to mention the covid, because i would not go to the cinema taking into account how my country is right now. idk... i'm getting kinda upset with all the "mystery" thing they are doing

I hope its a movie for the animation and attention to detail (and maybe even less censored gore?) but idk how itll affect LM and other reaction channels. How long will they have to wait to stream it and react? Would they have to wait an extra month or 2 after the rest of us unfortunately? :((

Just had the time to watch the edited on youtube and I agree. I was upset that at least 6-7 minutes of the 23 were spent on scenes we already saw in the previous episodes + the intro and outro. I'm worried they won't have enough episodes to animate everything that's left if they keep doing this. Is there going to be a movie or something? I think it would be a mistake to finish a show like this with a movie but idk if they can animate everthing from ch119 to 139 in 10-14 episodes

They were warned by Kodansha for uploading Attack on Titan Full first, without covering 80% of the image. I just turn on the episode in picture-in-picture mode and then just put that over their full-reaction. Works great. If you don't have Crunchyroll or Funimation, gogoanime or 9anime should also work.

I love that Nile is still in the show and that he gave Falco over to his brother. If you don’t remember Nile he has been in the show since season 1 in every season and was Erwin’s friend in the flashbacks we see of Erwin in season 3.

The Gabi scene is so great, her standing up almost like she wants to go and see Sasha's family when she realizes they care about her, feeling protected and loved by them, and then realizing Kaya hates her for killing Sasha. the consequences of her actions, and realizing the cycle of hatred. Eren created Gabi, and Gabi created Kaya. it goes on and on until someone breaks the cycle. and the empty bird cages, in my opinion symbolizing how with Gabi's realization she's freed herself from her limited perspective. also Gabi ripping off Falco's armband is so great, both as her own way of telling him not to give up and showing how much she's grown from when they first got on the island and she freaked out when Falco tried to take off her armband
