Episode 1 still feels like a side quest. But starting from Episode 2, the story starts to become cohesive. I would say Episode 3 is where things get real good. If Episode 3 doesn't hook you, then later episodes probably won't do it either.

Yes the music is great but the story flow is terrible. They were clearly dragging with the anime. If they made every 2 episodes into 1 episode, the show would improve drastically. Financial success does not equal to storytelling quality.

Naruto's story is great but the anime DRAGS and is FILLED with fillers. I will not recommend them Naruto anime series. If they want to experience Naruto, manga is a much better medium IMO.

Also, while I personally love S1 I can see its flaws as a TV show. The story is kind of all over the place without cohesion. But S2 changes that, it's one cohesive story from start to end. You won't feel like you're watching a bunch of side quests like in S1 anymore. =P

Oh you should definitely give Season 2 a try. It's a BIG improvement over Season 1. Better storytelling, better flow, better character development & interactions. All the reaction channels I follow they all agree S2 is an improvement. If S2 doesn't grab you by the end then I guess it's just not for you. And yeah, The Witcher 3 videogame is a masterpiece.

I watched the first season it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good enough that it got me interested to continue. I played all the Witcher games however and they are great especially witcher 3 that game is perfection. I’m a big fan of the games but the show was meh to me.

From the sound of it you haven't watched it yourself. Give it a shot. It's my favorite show of 2021. Above shows like The Expanse, Succession, Loki, Cobra Kai etc. But I may have some bias toward fantasy genre. Anyway, knowing LM's taste, I am almost certain they will love the show.

It seems like something they watch in their personal time and they have their plates full, already. I could be wrong, though. I'm sure they'd like to discuss the show with us though! If you girls will react to Fullmetal: For some reason, the studio decided to not animate the first chapter of the manga, which introduces a minor character used for comedy relief way later. Maybe you could read it on your own before watch the anime or after a few episodes.

Not all of them do, and those channels that do so are risking massive copyright infractions (as in losing their entire channels, patreon included I think?). LM's yt channel is 6 years old and they have over 150k subs, and their patreon is doing really well too. Not worth the risk for them when we can easily just sync up our own footage
