honestly i didnt think it was such a massive shocker. eren's demeanor thoughout seaon 4 is very telling. ch 121 is amazing dont get me wrong, but I wasn't as mind blown as most seem to be. Personally I thought the ending was very cool and a bigger shock.

The gate detail is something that most forgot. In the last episode, a character points out how the airships blocked the gate. Then the fire surrounded the exits. So Colt had no choice but to appeal to Zeke to let them out, it's not that he was completely idealistic and foolish to reality.

Shiganshina only has two gates. The fallen airships turned the area around the gate to the outside into an inferno. And Zeke stood on the other one and fell in front of it. Colt, Falco and Gabi had to run towards him to escape.

I don't doubt there's symbolism there but I think it's funny when people say "the wings of freedom" as if those wings of freedom weren't the ones that destoyed his home and killed many people he cared about. I know many people take sides like scouts vs warriors or whatever. I care about characters in both sides but it's always funny to me how people just blindly believe in anything the scouts do as if they weren't humans who make mistakes.

Wait, why you guys are having problems? They have the bottom of the video to see and sync. I don't use the timer, i just use the bottom part and i never have any trouble, the episdoes is always the same wherever you watch, so use the first second of the video to start their reaction and when it starts just unpause your copy.

Just imagine this in the manga, i actually thought i had missing pages, was not real... And you guys are lucky, the chapter in the manga ended with Eren's head flying, we had to wait like a month to see wtf happened. Well, just remember what Mr. Ksaver said to Zeke, that he found out a way to nullify the vow renouncing war, in 4x15. Galliard was able to see Reiner memories because Reiner was touching Eren when he touched him.

That was a lot, here is my personal opinion: Saddest scene: The hug between Falco and his brother. Best shot: Gabi staring at Eren and Reiner, trying to be eaten by Falco. Most shocking moment: Hard to choose one, maybe the scream but the most unexpected Zeke getting the power to decide at the end. Most exciting scene: Eren running towards Zeke, the music was perfectly placed. This episode has a great score on imdb and I just read a review saying: "If you give this episode a 10/10, you are not ready for what it's coming". Hard to believe but somehow it seems like the anime will find a way to get better. So excited and scared at the same time.
