Yeah they're both very good in different ways. Parasyte has some pretty crazy gore and body horror at times but It's extremely underrated and is probably in my top 5 favourite animes. It will seem very bizarre at first but honestly the show starts getting really good after ep 5. Vinland Saga on the other hand is definitely not underrated since everyone knows how good it is lol. It's a much more straight forward story than parasyte but has a fascinating historical setting with an almost Eren-like protagonist. And the last episode is probably one of my favourite anime episodes I've ever watched. By the way if you aren't already using it, I suggest checking out My Anime List. It's a great website that is kind of like IMDB but for anime lol. You can see what the public rating for each anime is on there and even make your own list of shows you would like to watch in the future to keep track of them more easily.

Both Succession and Sex Education are off the table because one or both have seen it. L+M should pin their TV show rankings video. It would save so many recommendations for shows that they aren't gonna react to. But The Witcher is one of the few that is on the table. I wouldn't oppose it but I also think they can find a more fitting show.

And the reason why I say that Shippuden sucks is that it has too much filler, flashbacks to bursting, more and more stupid plots, (After the Pain saga), villains who become good because of the evangelizing jutsu, Sakura being useless , etc...

One more suggestion: If you want a short show that will make you feel a lot, I strongly suggest To your Eternity. It's only 20 episodes and this show is so unique. I never seen anything like it before. Bonus: there was a huge buzz about it last year and I'm sure you'd get tons of new viewers just from that show.

Nudity is not the same as sexualization. Yeah evangelion is a little shameless at times but honestly I don't think very much of devilman crybaby is sexualized. Yes OPM is definitely worth watching in my book, it's hilarious and has great animation. Honestly I think the sexualization in that show is more of a byproduct of the over-the-top character designs. There are so many side characters and bad guys coming in and out that they kind of need outrageous costumes and stuff to stand out from one another lol.

Since everyone's dropping recommendations, I might as well drop mine. 1. The Witcher - Dark fantasy setting with interesting story & characters. S1 is a bit rocky but I think S2 is gets real good. I would like to think I know you guys' taste enough that you'll love this show. 2. Succession - Family + business drama with REALLY complex and interesting characters. Mind games, backstabbing, criminal activities - this show is really tense. Since you guys are fans of Better Call Saul, this is similar in that vein albeit less humor than BCS. BUT personally I think Succession is an even better show. So I think it will be right up your alley. 3. Sex Education - Don't let the name fool you. It's a romantic comedy with a lot of humor AND a lot of heart. It can get quite emotional. I think you guys will really enjoy the show. But it's not a super popular show so I guess it's a long shot that you guys would pick this one.

I think I would like it if they stuck to a max of 2 anime shows for balance. That said, the show I still would most like for them to react to atm is Invincible. 8 episodes and it's just really cool and really fun to react to because it doesn't do what you expect.

My Name is G R E A T girl getting revenge show, it's a fast paced story like Arcane with just 8 episodes and the main character is so cool. If you want something less dramatic/more chill to balance out everything else Freaks and Geeks is a cult classic from 1999 that I love. It has 18 episodes. And if you're looking for another serious and dark anime like Attack On Titan then definitely Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It has 64 episodes.

@sand_fl if you don't like sexualization in anime, then I warn you that not only in OPM, but in Evangelion there is a lot of that too, the same with Devilman Crybaby, although in this one the sexual content is justified by the story and it is not gratuitous like in Evangelion. Both animes are very good, but it is just for you to take into account those details. In addition, I would recommend that you give One Punch Man a chance too, yes, there is sexualization but it is not that much from what I remember, and only falls on super secondary characters, it is an anime that is worth watching :)

there's a lot of sexualization in one punch man lol, but it's more of a comedy/action show. If you're looking for something serious I'd say Devilman Crybaby, Parasyte, Terror in Resonance, Monster, Made in Abyss (this one is fucked up), Tokyo Ghoul, Vinland Saga, or Evangelion. I listed a lot there so feel free to ask about any of them you're interested in lol.

They will 100% like demon slayer, just because a character grows some boobs later on in the series doesn't mean she's being sexualized. Yeah the frame lingers on her chest a little longer than needed when she first transforms, but that is extremely tame compared to other shounens. Her growing a pair is also completely justified when you look at her ability to change her body size, she doesn't just shrink or grow, it's more like she gets younger or gets older in an instant. Other than that, I know for a fact that they would love the sibling bond and Tanjiro's personality. Honestly DS is definitely worth it. (Also it would bring in lots of views lol)

Mikasa is "stupidly" sexulized the whole show. Nezuko is not that at all, she just grows boobs in 1 episode, its not the same thing, they are gonna love nezuko like everyone else. you are comparing apple with orange. i'm not downplaying anything? i'm just saying that as someone who's been watching their reactions for a year and half i believe they're not going to enjoy the show as much as people think they will. you have to understand that not all animes, not matter how pupular they are, are for everyone. avatar is also one of my favourite shows and for me demon slayer is barely passable. and you also have to get, despite how many people get mad, that that nezuko scene will sit wrong with many people and with a reason. i don't care how the plot says she just grows up or whatever, the truth is that one moment is a child and the other she has tits bigger than my head. l&m's least favourite part of death note is how they portray misa and how stupidly sexualized she is. i don't know how people think they're going to watch demon slayer and ignore the sexualization of women. and for the comedic part... one of the biggest comedic relief is a guy obsessing over women and a 14 year old girl. i'm not about to fight over this but i do believe they wound't enjoy this kind of anime and i'm saying it because i pay and i have the right to give an opinion (same as people who recommendit). if they react to it then i'm happy for the people who want to see them react to it. i'm not going to stop watching their reactions for that.

If they liked avatar im sure they will like DS . it gets recommended because its 1 of the most popular animes in the world. If you want them to always watch adult only Hardcore 200 iq animes only like DN or AOT then recommend one for them to watch, stop down playing a really good anime because a girl grows some boobs and becomes an adult version of herself. it has sibling bonding, amazing art, good main characters witch they would love, simple but great story, COMEDY relief and more lighthearted then AOT witch i think many would like to see since they only watched AOT and DN. Variety is not a bad thing.I would rather watch them see it and say, that its not for them then you down playing it because you belive its not serious enough for them.

TeaDrinker3000 to be honest i'm far from expert in thaymt area. the only animes i've watched are aot, death note (i had it on watchist but didn't start until l&m did), fullmetal alchemist broderhood, jujutsu kaisen and 2 seasons and a few episodes more of demon slayer. I think i've tried a bunch more but gave up after a few episodes. i also need to find more animes that are serious. as a kid i also watched things like digimon and dragon ball but not sure if that counts lol anyway, out of the ones i've mentioned i'd say fmab. it's wasy more childish than aot but has serious themes. it's also funny and depressing at the same time. fmab and aot are definitely my favourite animes out of what i've watched.

Bro I know that they would like Naruto (most people do when they get into it) but I don't think there is even the slightest chance that they will watch it considering that it would probably take years at the rate that they watch shows on this channel. I know that they have reacted to longer shows in the past like the walking dead but keep in mind that they have only watched 2 animes so far, they are still very new to them and haven't experienced a typical shonen yet. Not to mention Naruto has some really horrendous pacing at times. In an ideal world I would love for them to react to it but honestly I don't think it's going to happen :/

I hope you guys check out "Monster" from Naori Urasaw. It is up there with AOT and Death Note. Probably features one of the greatest antagonists in anime. An underated gem for sure and is slow paced. The type of show is probably for you.

You should also check out Cowboy Bebop (the original Anime, not the netflix live action show) - Also if you want something fun and lighthearted after Arcane, check out One Punch Man or Kaguya-Sama. Demon Slayer is also pretty good (I thought parts of the first season were a little boring, but it's extremely popular)
