yea i think the original adaptation is darker in general, personally I think that FMAB is a good balance of darkness and humor but I can see why people prefer the tone of the first adaptation. Ive seen both versions when i thought they were different stories lol and i liked both.

2022-04-09 07:39:16 +0000 UTCI am of the opinion of startion on 03', and then if you absolutely only want to watch one version no more, switch from FMA '03 Episode 25 to FMA:B Episode 10 it is as good a transition and you get all the longer and more heartwrenching (even Liore is darker in '03) backstory and at least get to hear Bratja a couple times

2022-03-31 00:40:04 +0000 UTCIs Nezuko a well written character to have this "powerful sibling bond"? She just gets carried around and makes cute noises. Totally made to just look cutesy. My opinion. And Zeniutsu, despite some of his good scenes and characteristics, is someone I can't help but find super annoying. Having said all that, it's not a bad show. But as far as their tastes go, LM will find it just OK.

It’s a good time when you watch it for yourself but seeing reactions of it ? I don’t know I prefer watching reactions to show with more symbolism and deep stories for the simple fact that I consider the discussions after the reaction the highlight of these videos so the more to talk about the better but that’s just my opinion of course

Its lighthearted show featuring younger, chibi versions of the characters from original series (Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Reiner, Annie, Sasha, etc). Its much more about good laugh with some wholesome moments (and sometimes sad one aswell) to occur. Its really, really good and fun, perhaps you being already messaged about it. Many things in it you'l find out to be paralleled with original story. Show itself based upon manga-parody of AoT. Its only one season and not that long. Please, give it try, there are scenes in it down the road im DYING to see you react to. Its almost like ultimate gift to me for many-many upcoming Christmas's :) <3 Sorry for my poor English, not my native language by the way, in this show you can find EXACTLY same voice actors for their characters as in main Attack on Titan show

The issue with demon slayer is that the plot is much more straightforward (at least in the first season). Besides the typical shonen tropes It doesn't have much in the way of symbolism, motifs or philosophical discussions in the same way that ATLA/Korra and FMAB do. It still a great anime, but because of those reasons, I am not sure they would enjoy it as much.

After all Demon Slayer and FMB have similarities between them. I don’t think they would hate demon slayer at all I think the opposite they would like it I’m just wondering why many of the rest of you don’t think so?

Powerful female characters and no fans justifying sociopaths. this isn't a problem with just death note: anime's biggest con is its over sexualization and so many female characters became wasted potential. but there are also many great ones like full metal. you will definitely love the message. enjoy :)

She was still sad when her father was killed because she still loved him. Even though he definitely didn't deserve it.

2022-03-29 23:46:27 +0000 UTCFor what it's worth, ep 4 is far and away the 'worst' episode of the show from a general horrific emotional trauma standpoint. There are plenty of other dark topics covered in the show, but this is the most difficult to swallow. It's a real haymaker hit really early on in the series but it never gets this miserable again (IMO).

It's super interesting because you also get a glimpse of the author's intentions. For example, episode 3 was clearly about religious fanaticism, while this episode focuses on scientific fanaticism.

Honestly I don't remember anymore what my reaction was to it, especially since by the time I watched it in Brotherhood I had already seen this moment in the 2003 version, but I remember my best friend being traumatized and refusing to watch another episode for at least a week :')
