2024-04-26 06:09:21 +0000 UTCah man...any chance you could reupload? episode 8 full length is also down unfortunately. honestly, the only reason I started watching this show was because they announced rhea seehorn will be voicing a character in season 2 and you know I had to support the BCS cast! Now it's ended up being one of my favorite shows and I'm not even all that into super hero stuff but this was great! I barely finished it last week and now have just been filling the void by watching others react to it. I'm kinda glad I held off until now since I don't have to wait that much for the second season. I really hope you guys can find the time to reupload the full length reactions to episode 7 and 8, especially since season 2 is right around the corner.

2022-04-01 02:57:42 +0000 UTCDepth? In the show they just made her into this bitchy self centered girl who's manipulative and even gaslighty. In the comic she's none of those things. It would be chill if that's just who she is, but the show plays it like she's acting reasonable. That's the issue.

2022-04-01 02:48:28 +0000 UTCI don't blame Amber for wanting Mark to be honest, but her actions in this episode did sour me on the character. I cut her some slack since she's a teenager too, and yes, Mark wasn't exactly the greatest boyfriend; but even so, angrily accusing Mark of leaving her and WIlliam in danger to save himself when she knew what he actually did was put his life on the line to keep people safe, is pretty messed up. Amber could have just come clean. Essentially, because she didn't want to admit why she was really angry, she came up with a lie and played around the issue.

2022-04-01 00:35:02 +0000 UTCThat's not the problem with Amber. She's correct in expecting his honesty. That was literally one of her stipulations for their relationship, and he knew that going in. He was wrong in stringing her along for half a year if he wasn't going to be honest with her about who he is. He knew what her expectations of him were, and if he knew that he wasn't going to be able to meet them, the correct thing for him to have done was to simply end the relationship. Instead, he chose to keep her in dark, and was only honest after he felt it was the only thing that could save their relationship. The problem with Amber is that she accused him of abandoning her and his best friend when she KNEW that he didn't, that he actually risked revealing his identity to save the day. While I can respect that she was giving him the space to come out to her with the secret that she already knew about him, she went overboard with her act. She could've dumped him and told him it's because he wasn't being honest with her. Instead she dumped him with the accusation that he ran away and left her and his best friend to die. Which makes her just as dishonest as him which means she broke her own stipulation about honesty.

2022-04-01 00:15:45 +0000 UTCThere is no denying that Marc wasn't a good boyfriend to her, he simply doesn't know how to handle juggling superheroing and having a relationship. However, her knowing means that she also had a fair amount of time where she could have told him that she knew making both of their lives and their relationship easier but she instead chose to lie to Mark about it and then blame him as if he had been the only one to keep secrets.

He had months to tell her and didn't think she was important enough to trust with that info. Being a superhero doesn't absolve you of boyfriend responsibilties. Mark was a bad boyfriend objectively and every time he was late Amber would just see he was lying to her again and again.
