"The original version" I get what you mean, but I threw up a little when I read it.

Please react to the bloopers of FMAB, it’s so funny! Also, you should watch Full Metal Alchemist, the original version it’s a different story with the same preference and mostly the same characters. I think you both would enjoy it

damn i never thought of it like that. fighting to the death is such a natural instinct for him that its actually the most freedom hes felt in his life.

Danny

Please react to the bloopers of FMAB on YouTube. It's really funny

will we be lucky and have a double drop for the two last episodes?

"This show has been a joy"- feedback prior to episode 60

Milena: "Twenty minutes of them hugging, talking, you know? I would give my life for any show to do something like that..." Well it was nice getting to know you a bit, Milena... ༼☯﹏☯༽

I'm not entirely sure but I think in the first anime they describe Scar as an alchemy prodigy. He knows by instinct what other alchemists had to spend years to figure out. But it's his narrow view of alchemy and his stubborn religious views which make him turn away from his God-given talent. It's only after he swallows his pride and accepts his gift that God decides to give him a helping hand in defeating Bradley.

Not gonna lie, when I saw this ep, it made me see how fucking cool Father is. Cause in the whole show hes been on the backburner and just been waiting for his children or the sins to do his dirty work. Now seeing him in full effect shows how strong his powers are and they did not hold back.

Its at this moment I hope the two of you have come to realize what Scar's brother was working on this those tatoos. he was working on PERFECT ALCHEMY CASTING. Even better than the clap portal of truth casting. Those who open the portal still have to clap and need two arms to cast. Scar's brother was working on single touch with one hand, works on all elements without any knowledge of them. What a fucking badass right?

Really great episode and the last sequence really has some sort of a cosmic horror vibe that I really like ! I love the fight between scar and Bradley, perhaps my favourite fight in the serie, it does such a great job for their characterizations, scar ofc battling Bradley, wrath incarnate while he ,during the course of the story, made the choice to put his own anger apart for the greater good is really appropriate. Furthermore, Bradley being the one who issued the order to launch the war of extermination make the fight more personal than ever. Bradley speech might be my favorite part of the episode, it’s actually the second time in his life that he made a choice (the first one being the choice of his wife). He made the choice to stay to fight scar and it becomes really obvious during his speech when he says that being here, fighting for his own life and nothing else makes him feel « complete ». It’s been pretty obvious during the course of the show that Bradley has been envious, perhaps even impressed by humans abilities to change, adapt and make choices, something he could never do. Even if, him being wrath, those feelings could only translate to anger and irritation for him, hence why he said last episode that seeing mustang learns his lesson about human transmutation « infuriated him ». So him making the decision to become one with his sin, to stay to fight just for the sake of it really is pretty powerful in my opinion. And ofc him witnessing scar’s decision to use reconstruction and ultimately change his view about alchemy only add to the weight of the narrative. I can’t wait to see you two react to his final moments next week ! (In cas you didn’t know, the girls finished the show already (cf their twitter account), so it’s not a spoiler for them !

Also, minor detail from the manga that wasn't in the anime: the reason Izumi only joined the fight against Father right near the end there was because she had been spending the rest of her time protecting Roy. Literally like throwing him around everywhere to avoid the debris since he had no idea what was going on, and it was like a little thing happening in the background of the bigger fight panels lol.

Bradley's speech is not only visually stunning, but tragic in a lot of ways. Here is this powerful being knowing he's dying, but instead of feeling pity for himself, he has never felt so free. It's the first time he is fighting for himself, for his survival, and not for father's plans. This and marrying his wife are probably his only two moments of true freedom, and he doesn't care whether he dies or not, he has never felt so alive and complete.

Bradley's VA does such a great job, this episode and the next in particular show how amazing his performance is. RIP Ed Baylock, you were amazing in this role. Even knowing it is coming, that final sequence always gives me goosebumps, and that's in an episode with so many other great things. Scar's speech during his fight, Ross and Brosh reuniting...just too much to name.

What I love about this episode is how in the last 5 minutes, the events come to a head and everything gets crazier and crazier.

4:32 "The last episode 20 minutes just chilling." The finale must have made you incredibly happy. Even with Avatar, the aftermath of everything was only half an episode.

I'm glad that you didn't "stopped" at this episode, but now WE will have to wait. How could you do this to us?
