Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 63 Reaction

these last few episodes have just been a study on how many tears a human body can produce.. there is also no review here because we couldn’t do it through the tears

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 63 Reaction

Comments

So weird that this video is "age restricted"

slipHAZARD

Amazing

Jayson Neff

Trisha Elric is the series MVP, confirmed!!!

Norrin Radd

And see Al one more time

Craig

Ed’s sacrifice allowed his father to visit his mothers grave.

Herbert Anungazuk

Thank you for this one, never seen those before. God I miss this show already

Cation

Lol, that's true. I think it helps that seeing people cry makes me cry too but god, I was a wreck yesterday watching the reaction.

sand_fl

My favourite undermentioned part of this episode is Al's "it's so warm"

Craig

Lola ❤️. FMAB tends to do this with people.

Ruma Risto

I have a theory that just like when Father puts his sin into it when he makes a humunculous, Hohenheim put all his resentment and frustration from being a slave into Father when he made him.

Mikey

I love how the dwarf in the flask's portal of truth is completely blank to show he learned nothing, in contrast to Ed and Al's portal, which have a lot etched onto it.

Dario

Not that much, Armin is able to kill humans for his friends

Daniel LT

It always gets me when Hohenheim stands there and contemplates how his blood created the dwarf and in turn caused so much deaths and destruction, but then Armstrong comes and makes him realize that his blood - Ed & Al also saved this country, the writing of this show is just *chef's kiss*

Joey Joseph Jojoson

Seeing people crying on episode 63 is always so funny, considering how almost everyone, including you two, start this show absolutely hating Hoenheim.

Markub El Jaden

This episode...no matter how many times I watch it, I still sob. Especially when Hoenheim apologizes and Ed starts crying...that shit is so cathartic man. Can't wait for the last episode. Can't believe we're here, at the end!! Holy shit.

Harfie

we didn't

LM Reactions

Relatable.

CastSenpai

I swear I tear up more the older I get watching this show.

Mithrell

Armin and Al are basically the same character.

Orr Malus

Yess violet Evergarden had me sobbing every ep it’s so good!

BNichols1235

Im collecting the mangas as we speak lol. Them hardcovers are some of the cleanest designs for a manga ever! They're a must cop for any manga collector!

Alex cleveland

I don't think they need to have things in common. They love different types of stories. In their top 5 is also Attack on Titan, and that also doesn't really have anything in common with FMA.

ODIS

So glad u guys couldn't speak because of how much emotional distress u guys were going through (In a very wholesome and healthiest type of way). I know I sound sadistic when saying that a little lol, but I honestly expected that you guys would go through so much emotions while watching these final 4 eps, but holy shit, u guys were very emotional and I didnt expect that much tear flow❤. Im extremely glad u guys loved this ep though! Cant wait to see your finale ep reaction to FMAB!!!

Alex cleveland

id honestly say a lot of shows get labelled as overhyped and dismissed. even popular current action shows like my hero academia and demon slayer get marked as bad just for being popular, and while i understand the want to deny the worth of something popular, i can't help but be frustrated when i see it. there are plenty of worthwhile popular shows with really strong moments that people get too eager to dismiss in order to stand out from the crowd, then ultimately become the new crowd.

beans

Well, juat watched the reaction and as expected I am a fucking mess. How can I still cry when I watched this years ago for tge first time and rewatched many times since?... idk, but I still cry like it was the first time. Now if you'll excuse me I need to wash my face because even my glasses are a bit fogged from crying so much.

sand_fl

I cried alongside y’all 😭

Ten

Peak fiction

Jafeth Díaz

i love that ed giving up his portal was such a unique solution given both their portals were uniquely connected. their bond was always their salvation both figuratively and literally

Sebastian

I advise you from now on to lower your standards regarding anime, I do not think you will find anime of this level honestly, I have been watching anime for years, I have seen all kinds of them, but this for me is the most complete , and the best undoubtedly, it outshines all that I have seen, and considering what they recommend to you, I firmly believe what I have written above.

Friend

Season 3 of "Kaguya-sama - Love is War" had surpassed Fullmetal on MyAnimeList, but the FMAB fans downvoted it back to second place. I think it was the first time that a non-action show had reached so far

Raziel_BBT

Im writing this with legit tears in my face just finishing watching the full reaction with the girls. I think it’s one of my top 5, I also think it’s toxic that anytime a different anime is ranking high and doing well because the story and characters are so well written in that story that the FMAB fandom intentionally downvotes it. I love FMAB but people need to also recognize that there are shows that maybe have elements that are stronger than this one.

My Toasty Toast

I agree. Most of the animes that could even compete are the in the "12 episodes" category. It's really hard to maintain the quality of the plot for 64 episodes. And with so many episodes, you can develop your characters in a way that a shorter show won't be able to.

Raziel_BBT

That final send off for Hoenheim is so sad. A part of 'the truth' separated and mainfested itself in the world, coveting itself and its power and attempted to hoard the worlds knowledge. As a result of those actions, another part of truth put its faith in humanity, and created hoenheim to keep itself in check with no safeguards. In the end, the god of this world showed faith in his own creations, and saved the world without its own intervention. Hoenheim was the true hero of the story....

Jarrod Clemens

A little fun fact about the anime community: there are always discussions about why Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is #1 on many top lists. Some claim the anime is simply overhyped, and it doesn't deserve the spot, and rather other anime deserved the spot. But if you just watch the anime again and how well the characters and their storylines are written, you just have to admit that it is the best anime.

Robert H.

The cut at the end of the video, post crying, seems like you guys just went through a religious experience, which honestly same.

Andres

I might dislike Vinland Saga but it's going to be very interesting watching you react to it right after having gone through FMA: Brotherhood. They don't have a single thing in common.

Orr Malus

Hohenheim's really gets me the worst. What a story and journey with that character.

Unholy

Had the same reaction as you years ago when I first watched this and had that same reaction watching it again with you. It's been a journey. Thank you.

jiojiojiji

Honest question: How did you survive the last episode? You already look completely finished and at the end after this episode. :D

Robert H.

Don’t forget the bloopers 🤘🏻

Seth

Also, in the manga there were these three extra pages showing Hohenheim and Trisha reuniting in death. Read and let the emotion flow through you. https://64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4uwzp4pB31rwyy9so1_1280.jpg https://64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4uwzp4pB31rwyy9so2_1280.jpg https://64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4uwzp4pB31rwyy9so3_1280.jpg

cosmotron

I love the repurposing of that shot of Trisha from the opening, where she is reaching down with the sun behind her, putting it in the ending montage and seeming to imply that this is perhaps what Hohenheim sees in his last moments.

cosmotron

I do not cry often, but every, single, time I see that final shot of Hohenheim, I just can't help myself. God damn it.

Nikodem

I was waiting for this episode, same reaction I had, I cried too much

LuizBill

These last few episodes are so taxing on me emotionally I swear. I got the same feeling watching Violet Evergarden lol

CT

Good luck getting through Vinland if you think this one is a tearjerker

Nathan Elkin

this reaction was... expected, lol

Raziel_BBT

you should go back and watch the episode where ed dreams about Nina and Al. subconsciously Ed always knew the answer to getting Als body back

CirithUngol

bxhzj ok, that made me laugh, but the answers is many. i cry every fucking time i rewatch the last bunch of episodes. will be watching in a couple hours. so sad this is ending but really exited about vinland saga too.
