If you ladies would like more insight into Black Noir and Homelander's relationship, I recommend watching a short 14 minute episode of a spin off show called The Boys Presents: Diabolical, it's just a collection of short stories in this world but episode 8 of that series, shows you Homelander and Black Noir's past and is considered canon to this story. It was really good and helps you to understand why Homelander trusts BN so deeply and why him betraying him hurt so much to Homelander.
