I mean, I see it the other way. The fact that they can remember hearing it somewhere means it's still in their minds. Not everyone does that connection specially when it comes to YT reactors.

2022-12-04 00:31:59 +0000 UTCBy a whole decade. This line is in the second chapter of Vinland Saga back in 2005 and the ‘Friends’ chapter of Attack on Titan was released in May 2015. I think it’s safe to assume that Isayama took inspiration from Askeladd for Kenny but then again “Everyone is a slave to something” is a common theme seen in many places. It’s just in this case it’s practically word for word.
