Can you blame her? Was no one else traumatized during that insane one take of Elliot going up the stairs to the soundtrack "stress: have a panic attack" taking heroin, a shoot out happening and then him getting plugged by 2 shots to the chest? (The actual soundtrack to that scene is Better Than Morphine, but all the track titles are written in 1337 speak)

We go from the end of the previous episode to the first scene of this episode where Shayla is talking about how she's bleeding and it's a life-or-death situation... And yeah Mr Robot has a lot of good music. I'm convinced a lot of its budget goes to licensing all these songs because there's so many in every episode lol

Reminds me a lot of the use of flashbacks and flash-forwards in Better Call Saul which just break your heart by showing you how good things used to be or how dark they will become 😭

2022-12-04 03:27:09 +0000 UTCI was actually fortunate enough to win tickets to the aftershow in NYC after those two episodes that night. 😊 And yeah, they aired the first episode on social media (FB/Twitter) over the weekend beforehand too. I was so addicted to the show I was actually fully aware of the entire first episode before I sat down in the venue at NYC. 😅

2022-12-04 03:26:45 +0000 UTC100%, I remember when they did this, and to play into the theme of the series, I remember they intentionally leaked the first two episodes several hours earlier than the actual release on TV for the Internet - which I thought was a ballsy move for a production series to make to accommodate to it's theme
