If on a PC, right click on the video that's playing faster (which is the LM video here) and then click on "inspect". Then go to the console tab in the new window that pops up and copy/paste or type in this: document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 0.95910

That means you can speed up your audio/video 1.06x times or 1.43 times. You’ll have to use the playback speed slider present in the status bar. It is at the bottom-right corner of the player, below the volume slider. It displays the current playback speed. American TV is a at 25 FPS while some European standard (for sure at least in France) is at 24FPS, so you have to adjust your video speed accordingly. (25/24 = *1.04 as someone said if the reactor's video is faster, or 24/25 = *0.96 if it's slower than yours))

2022-12-05 01:34:56 +0000 UTCif you thought watching this episode was stressful you should try watching it for the first time with your reaction playing on my phone... my head hurts. last time i watch this for the first time alongside you lol i'll just watch it on my own and then watch the reactions because i feel like i lost a lot of things trying to watch both the episode and the reaction at the same time. but i agree, the way it was filmed it's fantastic, they really make you feel the anxiety with the say the camera moves. i'll probably have to rewatch this episode though. felt really bad for hall, he was a kid.

2022-12-05 01:32:36 +0000 UTCthe thing is that in the first episode their copy was not the same speed as mine, so i found a torrent and download it and it was at the same speed this time. but i read this comment so i thought i may try and this episode was at the same speed at mine with hbo max. weird. maybe they watched from a different souce this time.

The action scenes seem to be the part where the biggest time difference happens, so it looks like they're watching a version that has been deliberately sped up slightly. Probably to make it easier for networks that buy it to cram an extra ad break in there. I'm curious which service they're using to watch this. It's a small thing, but it's pretty shitty that they're seeing this and not the original. Hopefully there's another service they can use going forward, or maybe they can get a copy of the Blu-ray from somewhere.
