When the elders surrender with a white flag, Hughes and he get orders to kill them anyway. Their superior really yells at them and threatens them. And what does the Iron Blood alchemist say? "Did you know that half of all officer deaths on the battlefield are attributed to assassination by subordinates?" He then simply shoots him. And everyone around him makes comments like. "... It was a stray bullet." "Yup. That's what I saw." 2022-06-28 00:45:23 +0000 UTCThere were 2 alchemists that we saw in this episode that very early on we saw Scar kill, The Iron Blood Alchemist whom was killed in Episode 4, and I believe the following episode we saw the penguin dude (this episode we saw him on a stretcher screaming about having lost his leg), also Dr. Marco at the end. Of course he has the intent to continue this pattern, who do you think he will confront next either successfully or unsuccessfully? Also, we really get the feeling that, while not justified, we more so understand the rationale behind Scar's desire for revenge with how devastating the Alchemists were in this genocide.
