Subtitles are whack sometimes 🙃 definitely not done by a crew member, maybe a bot?

Yesss. Their heroes are crumbling around them. It’s great to see them still trying to deny it.
Can’t wait for the next episodes

Lola reflected on it briefly during the review. This is the first time we're really seeing Nancy Gao come into her own as a character. They'll discuss it more I'm sure.

Yeah, their confirmation bias towards her is pretty evident. They seem to love 'boss b' characters so much that they don't stop to actually think about what she's advocating for.

I was about to log on to make pretty much this exact same point.
While I think there will be more to be said in later episodes, as both party's policies become more clear, even at this juncture I think its fair to say that Avasarala's position isn't popular with everyone. Life on Earth, specifically for people on Basic, really sucks. Avasarala's choice to not take advantage of new Worlds probably comes across as tone deaf for a lot of those everyday people trying to live day to day.

The shiny metal discs that Bobbie Draper found in the black case were labeled "Tightbeam Encryption Modules". They are used to send private encoded MCRN messages from one ship to another. This is what the OPA stole.

I think if I was a citizen of Earth without inside information I'd vote for Nancy Gao. The outer planets are huge opportunities and Crisjen is blocking exploration and a chance to give Earthers new jobs/lives. Not only that, but Crisjen has never run for office before and is a remnant of the establishment with such great figures as Sorrento-Gillis and Errinwright. I think it's very interesting to think about and see both sides and to think rationally about what each of them represent and are advocating for.

As human beings, we seem to fall prey to absolutism in situations that are still in development. It is an error we make constantly. It is better to make adjustments in realtime where necessary. And sometimes it is even better to hold off judgement and action until a situation can solidify. Amos seems to be good at this. And so is Holden to the extent he can stay objective.

Subduction = the geologic process where the edge of one tectonic plate slides under or "subducts" below another tectonic plate :)
