i agree with everything you said, up until this episode the teacher was just a comedic relief character for me and just this episode made me love him and skyrocketed him to one of my favourite characters.
'i love my sister but in middle school i was stomping on her' lol honestly same but reversed. when i was in middle school my sister bullyed me to no end and then when someone messed with me in school she went 100% murderous intent mode lol.
that's a big sister for you i guess. i'm the youngest of four so i can relate more to ritsu in that aspect.

the relationship between mob and reigen is so beautiful. their bond is the main theme of this story imo. can't wait for you two to react to season 2 and 3

Gamma males also hate "jocks" with a passion, which is why in Mob Psycho you see jocks (Body Improvement Club) portrayed as the greatest people society has to offer.

There's a certain type of (male) personality which this shows revolves around. On the internet you will see it referred to as "gamma male". In short it's someone who's at the bottom of the social hierarchy but they think of themselves as the secret king, they think everyone should admire and worship them but "society" is too corrupt/dumb/brainwashed to recognize their brilliance. A lot of villains in pop culture fall under this personality type and Mob Psycho deals with these sort of villains exclusively. Japanese culture is very aware of these types of bad apples and you will see them made fun of in a lot of shows. In fact the oldest known reference of a gamma male is in "Tale of Genji" an 11th century Japanese book also considered to be the first novel in history.
