You can watch OVA #1 at any time really. But I definitely don't think it's a good idea to wait after the ending.

Each alchemist knows how to change the shape of something into something else but that something else still has the same molecular make-up. Each State Alchemist however has a speciality. Roy knows how to modify any gas into pure Oxygen which is flammable which is why he needs a spark to ignite it. Kimblee has the ability to transform organic matter into Sulfur (his first name is "Solf"). This means he can transform human beings into literal bombs hence his name: Red Lotus Alchemist. The center of a Red Lotus is yellow representing Sulfur and the red/crimson petals represent blood. Roy's ability is not limited by range but Kimblee needs to touch a person in order to make them go boom. Scar is aware of this so a Philosopher's stone doesn't really mean much against someone quick on their feet.

2022-07-12 18:33:22 +0000 UTClet the olivier simping begin lol i kinda agree with your top characters but i'd throw olivier in there too, she's definetly one of my favourite characters of the show and i'd say of all the animes i've watched so far; not number one but definetly top 5 i love snow when i'm home but i'm the most uncoordinated person alive so yeah, walking in the snow is not my fortee (though i'm pretty decent at skiing and ice skating) i have to agree with lola... i hate summer and the island were i curretly live has a temperature of 20 ºC aprox all year, so i miss the cold and the rain too much ed, al, winry and may are some of the mosot adorable characters i've ever seen. i'd say only anime character i'd say are just as cute are itadori from jujutsu kaisen and anya from spy x family.

As the stories diverge after 20ish episodes; and '03 has more details about the first act

I personally think it's better to watch them first, but I won't insist. Either way doesn't make a huge difference

It not a big action show like most of your reaction series but I promise it is one of the most emotional series ever with the most lovable protagonist. Also because it has a really great dub.

We saw a glimpse of its contents a little while back, when Winry remembers a conversation with Al where he laments about not being able to sleep. But the actual bonus chapter will give you all the feelings about the trio.
