Yeah, Black Sails is definitely one of the shows they MUST watch. I would add Last Kingdom to these shows.

Anything more is pure speculation, but could be a game given it was the initial plan & would make a great experience. Don't play games these days, but I'd hop back on the wagon for one last hoorah.

2022-07-26 00:36:43 +0000 UTCYeah, it's too good a story to not adapt, and definitely too good of a story to not complete. I think Ty Frank said that Alcon has the rights to create more tv stuff if they want, but there will be no more book spinoffs without his and Daniel Abraham's consent. I think the tv rights are kinda messy and expire after a while, but whether it's soon, 5 years from now, or more than 10 years from now, I just know this story is getting adapted.

2022-07-25 18:18:35 +0000 UTCThere's no way they let that IP die, there's a whole bunch of rumours floating around - doesn't matter the truth of them it's the most important new piece of science fiction intellectual property in probably 40 years. There's gonna be spinoffs and movies and all sorts of stuff in the future based in that universe regardless of what happens with the remaining books, somebody will do it - but yeah, no way it's over.

So most travelers who want to go to Earth just go to Luna and then take a shuttle that's rated for atmospheric descent down to the planet. And yes, that memorial is for the ship Marco destroyed using Naomi's code. Still no news on adaptations for 7, 8, and 9. I'm still optimistic that it's happening, no matter what.

IDK how shows are usually nominated/chosen around here, if it's by poll or popular demand or what. Since you guys have some live action shows coming to an end soon-ish I've gotta suggest you to react to Black Sails. Considering the kind of discussions you have, I think you would both have a lot to enjoy and say about the themes and characters in that show.
